No, that would be the OST version you want for that.

Still very good, though. I guess you could say it sounds LIKE that.

Same composer as Streets of Rage.

Oh wow. Cool.
Opening music to Streets of Rage always blows me away.

Did a search for that ActRaiser and it sounds like a very unique game. Or at least merges two kinds of games I have never seen mashed together before.

MEGABUMP but I couldn’t see a more recent place to put this.

I’ve been playing Picross and Ace Attorney crossover Murder by Numbers (Switch and Windows) recently. It’s got Ace Attorney composer Masakazu Sugumori on tunes, so you know the music’s going to be good. My personal favourite, though, is the absolutely delightful intro theme:

In the spirit of the thread’s title, my all-time fave gaming piece is probably Buoy Base Galaxy, and my favourite overall soundtrack is DKC Tropical Freeze.

I utterly hate that intro song, can't tolerate it for more than a few seconds.

I don't particularly like the tone of the whole game to be perfectly honest, I can't quite put my finger on what it is but I don't feel like I'm in the target audience for it.

I do like the picross element but I can't see myself actually finishing the game.

That was the sound of pure joy being punched in the stomach, pushed to the ground, and trampled on until it became a bloody mush. :(

I wouldn’t necessarily say that the trailer song’s representative of the tone of the entire game, because it goes a lot darker in places and has a lot of snarky humour; but it’s probably a decent ‘toe in the water’ test.

I'm actually playing the game, I'm just not sure I'm enjoying it for aesthetic reasons.
