Favourite metal riffs

inspired by a recent youtube binge, i wanted to check GRcades resident metal fans favourite riffs
this can be any type of metal - in fact that would be great because im very much a black-death-sludge metal fan so it would be nice to find some awesome riffs from other types of metal
ive chosen 10 memorable ones but feel free to put as many or as few as you want. make sure theyre good though!
in no particular order

Death - Bite The Pain, particularly the intro riff :datass:

Atheist - Mother Man, i mean the whole thing tbh but particularly starting at 0:38

Amon Amarth - Death in Fire, 0:08

Blut Aus Nord - Epitome II, 0:15 onwards - some say boring, i say hypnotic

Burzum - Jesus Tod, 0:57 - yes hes a reprehensible racist and murderer but some people like Michael Jackson

Cobalt - Gin, 4:33 but i mean i couldve picked the whole song

Coffinworm - Blood Born Doom, 2:26

Dragged Into Sunlight - Part II, 6:14 - its not necessarily technically impressive, but the build up to this and the sheer heaviness is INSANE. turn your speakers up for this one

Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis, main riff - another hypnotic/boring one. loud, heavy, brilliant

Gojira - Ouroborus, from start - you could pick any Gojira song you want. this one is so distinctively Gojir-ian.

ive got more but i want to hear yours!

To add to Maf's list there's quite a high pitched whiney riff in Adios by Rammstein that I think is absolutely brilliant.

Oh god, there's so many.

Intro riff. The guitar playing ion this album is awesome. Still can't believe they got this level of replacement for Piggy. Dan Mongrain is absolutely perfect.

The Lord Weird Slough Feg are riff writing masters on this album and the one following it.

10.29. As much as I want to hate this album now, I can't (there was a whole band drama thing with these guys).

God, there's so many more.

Does this count? The intro to Prequel to the Sequel is fab:

also maybe again a bit of a stretch but Roses for the Dead by Funeral for a Friend has a great little two-hand tapping riff

Most of the songs on Starfish had solid riffs. It’s an underrated album because Fred Durst is a bit of a joke, but I still really like it.
