I write for my uni paper Felix, and sometimes for the games section too. :D

Helpfully, all articles are uploaded to the online counterpart, FelixOnline.

I try not to do standard reviews but more comment-style pieces based on gaming and its culture etc.

If any of you are interested:

Too much of Lara's bum

See life in a fresh gamma value - article is more interesting than the title suggests, honest.

VVVVVVictorious!

Any feedback welcome, hope people enjoy!

And to those who used to read my stuff in PressStart days, i promise my articles are more accessible (and shorter) than those ones!

Well, on the off-chance that one person actually read and enjoyed any of the above articles, here is the latest.

It's Eye of the Tiger, but i don't need it. - My newest article about how i got my incredibly ripped abs thanks to gaming (as the editor has decided to put it!).

It's something of an ode to Street Fighter, and how interactive experience in gaming can inform our world view and activities.

And stuff. It's interesting i promise! Thoughts on the topic welcome!

As before, on the off chance that some people read and enjoy my articles in Felix Games, there are two articles i haven't posted here yet:

Are video games a waste of time?

and the fresh-off-the-press: Gaming in Reverse, why sometimes older is better

As always any thoughts/feedback welcome. I only write about the topics that interest me so would be interested to hear anybody' thoughts too!

For those interested, a triple whammy this week:

Avoid Haemorrhoids, make magazines - an article in the Comment section but one about growing up reading games magazines.

Gaming through the ages - when this baby hits 88 miles per hour - an article about the history of gaming, i wrote the piece set in 1994.

The future of gaming - an article about what we think gaming weill be like in 2030.

Enjoy!
