Is a new series starting shortly? I'm trying to get the game as we speak.

2 more games to go in this series. The next will be in a couple of weeks presumably.

That'll be up to the new managers (who will be decided upon next week). Next Thursday is the last match and they'll need time to organise and get the new teams sorted so there's a while yet before it all kicks off.

Could I put myself forward as a possible manager for the next series?

I tend to be infield a bit when the ball is back, which helps. Gives me space to get wide and makes it harder for the full back. It's also really easy to make the run when you know the ball is coming.

In other words, you make my life very, very easy. 8-)

I think the way it will be done will be the same as in the last series, remute will choose someone from his team to be manager and I will do the same for ours.

Would it be possible to have a game in midfield seeing as there is nothing to lose?

I appreciate the chance to play but right back is bloody difficult.

I echo this, but more as in: I know that as soon as GM has the ball I can start running and I'm pretty much guaranteed to be onto a through ball. Which makes my life as a striker a lot easier.

:o I can't wait.

I wonder what it could be?

Great game guys....

Things I love;

How our defence was always in a line.

How when I have the ball, I know GM is down that line making space and looking for it.

How we always laugh at Tim missing easy goals :D

You used to be cool.

Another amazing performance from the Midfield duo of destiny.

Above statement may be an exaggeration

No exaggeration! I thought we did our job very well again.

Funny how we've got to our most attacking formation, yet only conceeded one goal in two games.

Yeah you're right as usual. I think this formation has helped me find my GRasshopper form actually which is odd considering how attack minded it looks. Also I think you've adapted very well to the defensive playmakery role.

I can be a bit more open about tactics now as I don't really care what happens in the last 2 games. Having the central midfielder in front of you for the opening few games looked like more of a hindrance than a help, with this formation you are forced to be alot more defensively minded whereas in the first few games you were running up to support the attack. You and Nick together have been absolutely superb even shown best tonight when we didn't even concede when I left the room for a couple of minutes :D

8-)

Thanks Kanbei! Has been such a massive difference like you say from the first games where I was racing to catch up and support the forwards, it's been alot more balanced since the change, and strangely I've enjoyed the more defensive position.

SuperKing has been absolutely top to place with though, fun times.

Cheers guys and i've gotta say our job would be meaningless were it not for a fab back four and a super front four *Insert cheesy grin*
:D :D :D

I like how when someone wins the series, the whole thread becomes gayer than the Moulin Rouge.

One day...one day....

:(

It sucks, cos I've not played badly in the two games I've played - yet I miss the one where we actually get to win! Ferchrissakes!

When you win the series DML, you'll know what this feeling is like.
