Indirect free kicks? Are they even in the game

Poor choice of words from me, what I meant was long free kicks where you'd cross instead of shoot

Ah right fair enough, I was thinking that they'd added indirect free kicks in to the game which would be a cool feature

New engine looks very good, hopefully they don't just straight port the gameplay. FIFA needs to freshen things up if it wants to stay top dog long term.

New screens

What a massive improvement, player models and postures finally look realistic. Graphically, at least, this is looking better than PES, something I couldn't say about the last 4 versions.

So news is that the demo will be landing next week on September 13th. More info here

Also this was at Gamescom with Reus playing along with a couple of the big twitch/youtube guys Spencer and Castro.

Animation transitions still look disjointed as strawberry float

Looks good to me still. As long as it plays a good game that's all i care about. I did give the PES demo a go when it came out and it plays basically the same as last year with slightly faster transition of passing. The shooting, goalkeeping and play though was still all the same which i didn't enjoy much last year. I'll await the demo of FIFA to see if i get a footie game this year.

Any mention if they've fixed penalties in this?

In what way , I think they have changed the system a bit though like free kicks but I can't remember much being talked about around penalties.[/quote]

They are absolute gooseberry fool in Fifa 16. Half the time the keeper doesn't dive and there is consistency with shot placement.

Oh i never had a problem really, The placement for me was ok and the diving was just pointing the stick in the right area, the only annoyance i had was that because i had no target on the screen it was more a bit of a guess/practice of how far to a certain area it was going to go. I know they have amended the free kicks though so it could be possible they have reviewed the penalties.

EDIT: WTF is up with the quoting issue on the forum.

But if you buy the S bundle that comes with the full game you're not going to be limited for a week right?
