The most disappointing film I’ve seen this year goes to Alien Covenant, hands down. Utter shite.

I enjoyed it much more than Alien Covenant.

Mainly probably cos I’m a huge Alien fan and get crushed by that film is so painful.

I haven't seen either, but Wonder Woman was pretty much universally well received. Alien Covenant was panned all over the place.

I have to say that it’s the best DC universe film out of the lot. Which doesn’t take much to beat really.

Thor 3 was my favourite film this year.

I also enjoyed Spider-man: Homecoming, Logan, War of the Planet of the Apes, Paddington 2 and Logan Lucky. Biggest surprise was Get Out-great performance by the lead too.

I was disappointed by The Last Jedi and Dunkirk for different reasons.

I didn't see as many films as I'd have liked really. Only about 13 new releases.

I missed this thread:

Films of the year anyone?

Mine, in no order:

Best:
John Wick 2
Logan
Thor: Ragnarok
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. II
Lego Batman
La La Land
Baby Driver

Worst:
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
Assassin's Creed - ventured into so bad its good territory
The Great Wall
Beauty and the Beast - appalling on every level

Unforgivably I haven't seen Moonlight, Blade Runner or a number of others.
