12 Monkeys - 7/10

A good film with strong performances and a great look. Personally I prefer the directness and beauty of the short film it is based on (La Jetée) hence the slightly lower score.

I watched 12 Monkeys not too long ago. I'd give it a 9/10 as I love films that are a bit crazy and you've no idea what is going on, yet make sense in the end.

I still need to (re)watch Traffic.

Forgot to put myself in for this again, as I never seem to be able to watch half the films or forget to put my ratings up. That said:

Twelve Monkeys - 9/10. It has Bruce Willis in it, and is awesome. I love the premise and I've never seen La Jetee which I'm told makes this look like a pile of piss in comparison, so it's untainted to me. Excellent stuff.

Just noticed Simon Jones is in 12 Monkeys

The only Arthur Dent worth mentioning.

12 Monkeys-7/10- I don't like it as much as some people seem to, but it's alright. Not Gilliam's best by a long way, but it's still got a great script and good performances from Willis, Stowe and Pitt.

12 Monkeys – 8/10

Love this movie and glad people voted for it. It is not perfect but I like the story and think the performances are amazing. When I first watched it, I always assumed that Brad Pitt was just a pretty boy actor, this film (and Fight Club later on) showed me that he really could act.

Traffic:

I didn't like it when it was first released. But on a second viewing for the Film Club, I like it. It's not brilliant, some dull parts in the film makes it still a chore to watch. I would rate this a modest 6 out of 10.

12 Monkeys:

As brilliant as always. Brad Pitt put in a stellar performance and shows that he's not just a pretty-face actor. Brad Pitt is one of my favourite actors. Despite a couple of plot holes, 12 Monkeys is one of my favourite films.

And don't forget Bruce Willis.

A rating of 8 out of 10 for this one.

12 Monkeys

Brad Pitt  Awesome stuff. Movies involving time travel always absolutely baffle me, though. How was Cole young in 1996 yet old in 1997? Are there lots of different Coles from different time-travel trips? Thought the homeless guy with no teeth could have been Old Cole after he ripped his teeth out after beating up the pimp...

7/10

Will hopefully watch Traffic either tonight or tomorrow.

12 Monkeys - 8/10

Love time travel, Gilliam and Bruce (when he picks a decent role) so it would be very hard for me to not like this film. Just wish Gilliam could get more movies made in general :(

Traffic - I'd seen this loads of times before but could hardly remember any of it. It is good but does go on for too long. One of my mates thinks it's the best film ever and he used to borrow my DVD every couple of months. I wouldn't go that far, instead i'll give it a solid 7/10.
