As usual... I haven't seen any one of them, nor heard of them. :lol:

This probably make it a bit difficult for me to find a decent subtitle track when I "obtain" the film.

I was like 16 then and thus am absolved from all blame

At first I thought 'Wish I Was Here' was the Joel Edgerton film which I've been meaning to see, but that's 'Wish You Were Here'.

Also thought I'd seen The Signal before as it was a pretty good horror film, but that was released in 2007 this is a 2014 film with the same name.

So I've not seen any.

The Signal - 5/10

It was okay, a couple of scary moments throughout the film and the visuals were quite nice to look at but the story was an incoherent mess so that's why this gets a low score. Also some of the scenes were so cliche it hurt.

It seems that the writers wrote the "twist" ending and then work backwards from there and end up with a mess of a film.

Infuriating to watch, but somehow still engaging.

The Killing Fields - 6/10

I wanted to like this. It's a film I've always wanted to watch and I usually love this sort of thing but this just bored me a bit.

Mad Max 2 - 8/10

I've never watched a Mad Max film and I'd always held the opinion that they'd be rubbish and naff. I actually really enjoyed it.
It's got a very similar theme to Waterworld (but without the water). It was short enough to keep my interest although I felt the final chase could have been more dramatic, I didn't really feel thrilled by it.
Will have to watch the others and the new one when it comes out.
