Are credit chips (and the other chips, whatever they're called) any use on equipment upgrades or are they just good for cashing in?
Just purely for cashing in.

No:1 Final Fantasy Fan wrote:played a few more hours today but had to stop as I got bored and very annoyed with the weapon system. I found a new weapon for Fang "Taming pole" but it is at level 1, I dismantled her current weapon which was about level 16 but was left with some useless bits. So I don't see the point in changing weapons when you already have a high level weapon. Its so stupid this weapon system.
I liked it in Final Fantasy IX when you just obtained new weapons equipped them and your character become more powerful.
And I still don't know/or have forgotten what is happening in this game. Fal cie? l'cie?
Got an exellent tip. That is one of her best weapons as well. Got Creature Comforts and buy 99 Barbed Tails. Keep adding 4 to the weapon until the multiplier gets to times 3. Should take about 32 Barbed Tails. Then use some with a lot of experience and you can get the first tier maxes at lvl 26 in no time.
Remember you can go into datalog for refreshing the story.

Cheers.
I'm currently at a save point where I'm spamming three battles where these (and Phoenix Downs) are frequently dropped as I've heard that Dorrars are pretty scarce in the game.

Good work, just been levelling and levelling up. All characters have reached 100% on three paradigm
Also done missions 51 - 53 which still took a lot of work. (Already done 54)
Not many more to go, but have to defeat Vercingetorix & that
big thing walking around in the background Edit:
I just read, you don't actually fight him, bollox

20 minutes running down the life of one of the mission hunt and the strawberry floater casts "Doom" right at the end.
I hate DOOM, you hear I HATE IT!

Managed to do it second time, got 75000 CP for my efforts
(and a trophy)
That's all of Titan's hunts completed now, just need to get 5* on all of them now but that's going to take a lot more levelling up.
6 Mission hunts left and I have finished everything in the game

Still can't kill one of those massive four legged creatures walking around. It can wipe out my party in two hits before I have even dented its life

Vanille has it, in the skill set with deprotect and the like, I forget the name
Think its got rougly a 1-2% chance to actually work, but its the easiest way to kill it
