You're back!

I second that. Great to see :D

And the battle system is bloody good.

After a bit of grinding and strategy planning, I defeated this boss, onwards to Disc 3

Haven't been playing since the end of March with all the uni work I had going on. But now just started chapter 11 which i expect is beyond half way now. But I am disappointed with the story it doesn't seem engaging at all.

I'm on Chapter 10 now. Enjoying it but can only play for short periods of time otherwise I get bored with it. Anyway, I've got a gooseberry fool load of components from battles from the last 5 chapters that I haven't bothered using to upgrade weapons yet. Well, not significantly. Feeling now is the time to start pimping them up.

How does transforming weapons work and can I do it on every weapon. I did a test on Sazh's Deneb Duellers, got them to star but couldn't transform it.

I kept falling foul of the "Leaders dies then game over" rule. Stupid rule.

Sentinels are the key. I think :shifty: It's been a while since I did that boss.

I've been doing some grinding to prepare for the rank A marks. Currently 77 hours in and have four roles maxed, one at level 3 and one untouched. Making decent progress but I need to kill some adamantoises to get some trapezohedrons and fully upgrade my weapons.

Quick question -

I'm at the end of Chapter 11 (I think), justdefeated the boss and he's left a nice jet, seems like I'm going to be heading back to Cocoon.

The question is, when do I get a chance to go back to Gran Pulse? I've still got a tonne of missions to complete and reckon I'm (finally) strong enough to take down a Behemoth King no problem. Is there an open option to go back and forth between Pulse and Cocoon or do I have to wait for another storyline event before I head back there.

Moving along nicely on chapter 11, but have lost the motivation to do anymore c'ieth stone missons and just want to see more of the story (and those lovely cutscenes).

Both in chapter 12 and 13, you'll get a chance to go back to Grand Pulse.

How do I defeat Chapter 11 end Boss, the Doom near the end makes it impossible and I am not starting another 45 minute boss battle until I know a sure fire way of defeating it!

I beat if first time. :shifty:

I dunno if I was levelled up too much or what. I didn't find it easy and it took ages mind. I had only done a handful of missions before too.

Did you find the tower itself easy enough? I thought it was a piece of pish, apart from one or two enemies where there was more than one vampire to fight. If you found it a slog then maybe you need to grind somemore. When I first got to the tower, I actually went all the way back to the open planes to grind just a little bit more.

Nope, when they cast doom you just have to go all out and kill the bastard! Having said that, I just remembered it took me two goes. I got my Summon in after making it stagger the third time, still had to get it to stagger twice afterwards.

It's unfortunate but sometimes you need a small bit of luck towards the end and pray that it doen'st kill your main character.

I used Lightning as my main char, then Snow as mostly a Synergist until I had him back up Lightning with Ravager. I also had Vanille on hand with Medic, rarely deviating to all out Ravager [x3] other than for a few seconds.

A lot of the time when being attacked I had Lightning and Vanille on Medic while Snow was a Synergist which is the quickest way to regain health to whole party as Snow will usually take 90% of the damage and take the impact while the other two just cure the hell out of all of ya.

Having said all of that, I'm pretty sure all my char where over 5000hp. Equip them all to 'defense' and you should find some accesories increase you hp.

Hope is a demon when it comes to Ravager but his HP is always WAY below the others, until you level him to over 5000, I wouldn't use him, he was only about 3900 when my other char's where over 5500!

Thanks, I will give it another go later on today. If I lose this time I can see myself taking a break from the game!

I was just thinking if I am finding this annoying Demon's Souls will eat me for breakfast!
