Getting back into this game now Chapter 11. Got bored tbh with the silly story about people turning into crystals, but since they just announced XIII-2 I have decided to complete this game.

If so where is the best place to do it?

Not many hunts left to finish everything

Think thats the easiest way to do it at the moment, there is another battle which will give faster cp but only at really high lvl's, but its harder to find a video for that one

Started playing this again last night. Played for about half an hour, then found Vanille's Eidolon :fp:

Any tips? It just slaughters me in seconds :(

which chapter is it? Eidolon battles are really tricky in this game, so far I only got Shiva, Ifrit and Odin.... but its been a while since I fought one so I think some new eidolon battle is due

I'm at chapter 7.
Are credit chips (and the other chips, whatever they're called) any use on equipment upgrades or are they just good for cashing in?

I must go back and finish this, I've been messing about hunting monsters too long. Can I warp back to the end or do I have to go through the tower again?

Seem to be a lot of people going back to this! I'm stuck fighting The Proudclad near the start of chapter 12. He wipes Lighting out after the second stagger no matter what I do!

Gonna try and take down Hecitototorieitheorocktichtmieir again now.

Why the hell are so many of the Eidolons called such ridiculous things? :x What the hell happened to stuff like Ifrit, and DOOMTRAIN, and Cactuar?

I've got strategies on t'internet.

Anyone who says turn-based RPG's are boring really should give this a go, the random battles are won and lost in seconds most of the time :fp:

They'd better strawberry float these Eidolon battles out of the second game, they're bloody ridiculous. Not fun, not fairly challenging, just cheap bastard slogs. Pathetic, Square.

It's not even like I'm ever going to use the bloody Eidolon considering how diabolical they are in battles now :x Why is there not just a "strawberry float of, Hectacre" option?

So, even following their strategies, I can't do it. I can get bloody close, though :x Stupid eidolon battles.

So now I have to head back up the tunnel and grind Vanille.

played a few more hours today but had to stop as I got bored and very annoyed with the weapon system. I found a new weapon for Fang "Taming pole" but it is at level 1, I dismantled her current weapon which was about level 16 but was left with some useless bits. So I don't see the point in changing weapons when you already have a high level weapon. Its so stupid this weapon system.

I liked it in Final Fantasy IX when you just obtained new weapons equipped them and your character become more powerful.

And I still don't know/or have forgotten what is happening in this game. Fal cie? l'cie?
