Notes
You can only search and issue friend invites to people who are logged into the game at the same time as you. You can only meet up if you play in the same server / world; although new functionality is currently being introduced that will enable you to visit other worlds.

With the recent rise in interest from GRcadians in this game, I 'm hoping that we can share adventures, stories and tips here!

If you play the game and aren't currently included in the player details in the opening thread - or you want amendments made - just let me know. Let's travel into Eorzea!

Looking at the Lodestone to join the Cross-World linkshell, you need to be invited. As I am the only one in it I need to invite 2 people to join, or one and another one of my characters.

Will anyone be about later on to on Omega to do it. I'll keep reading to see how you invite people for other realms.

Currently a lv60 Dragoon and have just finished the Heavensward story. Working on the stuff between it and Stormblood now in an effort to catch up before Shadowbringers

To add people to your friends list cross-world you first have to party up with them.

If any of you see me playing it on Discord I can teach you how.

I just completed the "Into the Beasts Maw" quest / dungeon... and I've hit level 30 .

Damn, I was catching up but haven't gained a level since Saturday.

Wait, why does Pedz have two characters on the one server?

I had a character I was leveling on my own and Grum made a character, so I made a new one to play with him. I know I could've just swapped jobs, but I didn't know if I would be able to redo quests (the quests that Grum would be taking) that I had previously done.

Same for me. I've got a character that I'm playing with my fiancee, so I wanted a separate one for myself.

Gonna jump on now actually. Those story missions aren't going to complete themselves.

So, I got to level 28 last night and now have to go save on old green thing in some Maw. Won't be long until I get to 30 and I may go down the Black Mage route (if it's a choice?)

Really enjoying playing this, it's great. Need to explore a little more to do the 3rd hunting page of my tharmutud. I also left the low-level quest alone while being in and around Gridania as I have the Conjurer class at level one and I'll do those quest with that class. As I said I don't know if I can do already completed quests with a new job to level them.

That's the dungeon that I completed last night, Pedz... and I hit level 30 just after :-) .

It is great once you get into it! I think I'll explore sidequests and develop other skills for a bit now before I continue the main storyline. I don't wanna rush it.

It is great once you get into it! I think I'll explore sidequests and develop other skills for a bit now before I continue the main storyline. I don't wanna rush it.

What level did you enter the dungeon? If it was 28 I'll be 30 soon. If it was 29, I may see If I've missed a side quest or two in the area.

Uhm... I *think* 29. Even so, IIRC you only have to be 27 to enter that dungeon. I'd gradually built up my level a bit by doing sidequests.

I've focused on the main quest for the past few sessions but I'm gonna take time to look at a few other areas and sidequests tonight.

Yeah, I'm basically done Main story quests from around 20-ish until I got the Chocobo and have being dining some side quests after heading to Gridania for the people in that place in Thanalan whose name I have forgotten as they want me to talk to someone and stuff.

I'm back on for some XIV this evening . Pedz, congrats on reaching level 30, dude! I noticed that you're up to level 30 in another category, too ...

Black Mage, but you just do a quest in the Thermaturd place to get it. It's basically a specialisation of Thermaturd.
