Making pasta. My arms hurt.

Also venison ragu to go on top. Quite excited. Also drowning the meal in a bottle of red.

Impressive work Lewis. Very. Real shame about your slow cooker - I guess chocolate torte might just get you through the crisis!!

Red on the side or in the dish?? (Or both - see my post above!)

But it's got black pudding in it. You cannot possibly actually like that! (According to posts elsewhere...)

Looks bloody good to me! (And I loves me a piece of black pudding.)

Edit: what are those little round things next to the black pudding? The big round thing are potato rostis right??

PS Just about to serve up a lamb stew. It has 2/3rds of a good bottle of red in it. (I am drinking the other 1 1/3rds bottles!!) Smells divine.

PPS - not a lot of toast for a breakfast of that size?!

White pudding. I struggled to finish the toast, there was a lot on there - two slices of thick sliced is more than enough.

Streaky bacon was home cured too :datass:

I'm not so much a fan of drinking red, so mostly in the dinner. Probably wash it down with a Pepsi max :shifty:

Lamb was a success! Even put it all into a giant yorkshire.

Now what to do with the leftovers...

Moroccan Lamb tagine? Can do it super quick since it's already cooked.

Tried making pasta. Took ages to roll out and then swelled in the pan so we're having regular pasta. Was fun having a shot at it though.

Made the tagine! Was very nice, also my lunches sorted for the week.

Although I did plain cous cous and forgot how dull it can be.

Nice one. I'm planning on making that during the week. Made braised pig cheeks tonight. They were cheap in waitrose but slow cooked in cider was lovely. I had mine with polenta, with Apple and pancetta on top. So soft and tasty.

Started juicing and all was going well until I made a green juice from celery, spinach, watercress, cucumber and fennel :/
As soon as I drank it I became lightheaded and then had symptoms if cold for past two days and a massive headache and cold sweats.
Apparently this is your body detoxing but I'm sure it must be doing more harm than good.

Just thought I wud warn people about juicing

It must be the fennel. There's surely no other explanation.

Dude, don't do spinach. Did you not see what it did to that Popeye fella? Gave him the roid rage something massive.

There was Kale too and half a lemon.

Never having green juice again. Apparently because it's so concentrated it causes your body to release tonnes of toxins and then your body thinks it's battling a virus hence u get cold symptoms or worse.
Totally ruined the second half of my Easter weekend :/ and still suffering today

Look pal. Juicing is a load of wank. Would you get ill eating plate after place of celery and kale? Probably not, you'd almost certainly get bored of it yes but make you unwell, I doubt it. Make you more well? I doubt it. The kidneys and liver do all the 'detoxing' your body needs. Just eat your 5-a-day and you'll be fine. If you don't like fruit and wanna smash them all into a handy drink to down in one, go for t. But don't replace meals with it. You're probably lightheaded cuz you're obviously a hypochondriac, and if you're only drinking liquid celery and eating nowt else, those 9 calories will probably make your body incredibly weak.

Just incase you missed it, juicing is wank. Make sure to Instagram your efforts though otherwise it really is worthless.

Maybe he would benefit from a personality test from the Scientology folk.
