Is there a sauce? Looks awfully dry.

It's the little things that matter most. To us at Chick-fil-A®, those are things like warm hospitality and the recipe for a sandwich that was created in the kitchen of a small restaurant in 1964.

That recipe was simple: one breaded, boneless chicken breast filet between two buttered buns with two perfectly placed pickles.

Sounds like the boring type of gooseberry fool my missus would make.

Does anyone have any slow cooker recipes I can try? I want to get mine out and use it again but I only really ever cook BBQ pulled pork in it and we're cutting down on our meat intake.

Yeah, I've got some quality ones. I use mine a lot.
I'll write some up when I'm home from work.

First tip: slow cooker bags/liners ;)
Love them!

Hang on!

Those two 'perfectly placed pickles' aren't even on that burger!

There's no way I'm placing them myself.

They're perfectly placed if you don't like gherkins, I suppose.

Seriously guys it the best damn chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life!
It's a test site so their menu only has three items on it. I seriously don't know why they are being so damn cautious as their food tastes amazing!!

I'm trying to separate their food with their beliefs.
Anyway I'm planning to make the trip to Reading from London this Saturday (as they aren't open on Sundays for religious reasons).

I guess that explains their homophobic views then.

Religion eh.

It's opened in a cursed corner of the Oracle in reading.
Funky, trendy restaurants open there and barely last 8 months.

It's above a pret, which is better value, tastier and healthier.
And the opposite end of the shopping centre to the actual food court / Riverside restaurants. I give it a year.

Also, aren't they massively homophobic?

Like I said I have had it before in the states and was seriously one of the best meals in my life!!
You can't compare it to Pret A Manger that's crazy lol
Have you had it before? If not then I highly recommend it. It won't disappoint!

I used to frequent Chick-fil-a before I knew the organisation was homophobic. Not denying the food is good, but not worth it when there are plenty of other options like Shakeshack and Jollibee

No:1FFF - Might wanna avoid coming to Reading on Saturday.
Apparently LGBT rights protestors are going to be picketing the restaurant and police are concerned they'll either get violent or sabotage the food:

I tried the shakeshack chicken sandwich/burger and it was over cooked and not tasty at all awful! Been to Jollibee a few times here in London and its alright but I don't like the texture of their chicken.
Anyway I know where you are coming from and some airports in the US have even banned Chick Fil-A from opening there.
