Isn't N1FFF LGBT himself? Baffling that he chooses to support a company that supports groups trying to suppress his human rights.

It's opened in a cursed corner of the Oracle in reading.
Funky, trendy restaurants open there and barely last 8 months. I give it a year.

Hate to say I told you so:

Reading Chick-fil-A outlet to close in LGBT rights row

I just saw the news too https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/18/chick-f ... group.html
Looks like the shopping centre won't renew their lease after 6 months...I hope they find other locations and don't give up on the UK

We already have good chicken, we don’t need their homophobic conservative chicken.

10 out of 10!
The food was amazing just like it is in America and wow the customer service was truly exceptional!

I saw the peaceful protest outside, two guys came in with a sign but security asked them to leave. Respect them for trying to convey the message.

Anyway I had no idea the Salvation Army were homophobic? Its a shame they donated to some dodgy charities in the past but they have completely stopped that now apparently so I don't mind eating their food.

Wendy’s having another shot at the U.K. market, having failed in 1999.

Mmmm their SQUARE shaped burgers look so nice! I had Wendy many years ago in Tokyo. In fact when I was in the US three years ago I was in the queue at Wendy's at Philadelphia airport but noticed the queue at Chick Fil-A (which I never heard of at the time) was massive so I went there instead and was blown away.

I just googled it and apparently Wendy's did a pop up in 2017 to test the market again but no word of anything since...

Did you know Chick Fil-A is the third largest fast food chain in the US in terms of sales only after Starbucks and McDonalds?

Woohoo Jollibee are opening up in Liverpool and will have that as their flagship restaurant up north.
Means I can get Jollibee in both my home cities :)

Lol well I think their other burgers look ace but I doubt they will open here tbh

I'm gonna go back to Reading in a week or two for more Chick Fil A. Is it extreme paying £20 for a train ticket return from Paddington just for Chick Fil A?
There doesn't seem to be any tourist stuff to do in Reading so I'm literally there to eat my sandwich and go haha

It is when we have all seen a picture of one and it’s clearly boring as strawberry float.

How do you open a flagship Northern restaurant that's not in the North?

How can a restaurant be flagship when it’s up north?

They are going to have multiple restaurants up north but Liverpool (best city and football team up north...I mean in the country :slol: ) will be their flagship :)

Have you been up north?

Liverpool isn't north, it's upper middle at best!

I made Mac and Cheese Bolognese last night. Christ it was good.

Saturday's leftover slow-booked Bolognese sauce; three-cheese cheese sauce on the pasta. Finished in t'oven.

My diet crashed and burned a little, though.

So basically the Eton Mess equivalent of a lasagne. :dread:

Looks well nice to be fair, although what are the speckles on top?

I whacked some poppy seeds on. Couldn't really notice them, tbf.

But yeah, as I plonked it down in front of the wife, I did say it was basically a very cheesy lasagne.
