Pulis got what he deserved.

Even when he bought on a striker he took off a striker rather than midfielder. When he bought on Gestede he moved Bamford to the left.

Boro didn’t really go for it and Villa were comfortable all game.

That was strawberry floating appalling stuff. Why on earth we set up to grind out a bore draw is beyond me, we ran them ragged in the first leg. Got incredibly lucky in the end too - Johnstone should have saw red.

Really really not looking forward to playing Fulham now. Will hopefully get a ticket to Wembley but it'll be a total ordeal viewing wise :slol:

We missed 3/4 great chances. I dont see how thats setting up for a draw? We had 15 shots as well?

We set up to let them run at us for 90 mins, it was absolutely brutal to watch - we only got away with it cause boro were strawberry floating gash haha :slol:

If we try same thing in the final I can see Fulham running away with it. Anyway now that my blood pressure has returned to normal, very happy with our season overall. Bruce has got the ship righted mentality wise and given the year he's had in his personal life I'm glad he'll be adding another wembley final to his CV!

I really don't think you played that badly. The second half felt totally under control until the last 5-10 or so minutes, which is to be expected. I'd say Boro shaded the first half and you had about 65-70% of the second.

Sorry Glowy, but I live in Erdington now and I'm really hoping Villa don't go up so I can do a 10 minute away trip to Villa Park next season....
