Yeah, but via Middlesbrough.

I've no idea if that is sarcasm or not.

I can't remember every football rivalry in the entire country.

Especially if its that irrelevant.

I was wondering how likeable a club who signed a drink drive killer to play in goals could be myself.

Remember Glowy, you must always remember who plays in goal for Plymouth. ;)

Glowy, you're in the Football League Thread now. Don't start pretending you support a big-time club any more! We're only potentially 8 months away from being in the same league (one way or the other) these days. It's fair to say that Plymouth are one of the less popular teams in the lower leagues.

We're going up this year m8

The only way you’re going up is if you’re relocating the team to Manchester.

Dont be jelly

I'm not, we're a point ahead of you. :datass:

One of the most ridiculous 90 minutes of football I have ever watched. That was the worst performance in a football shirt for Pompey I have ever, ever seen from Drew Talbot.

He came into the side as a replacement, gave away two goals with stunning screw ups, knocked one of our two remaining (out of four) fit and capable centre backs out cold in mid air with a stunning forehead to the face, repeatedly gave away the ball and was caught out of position, got subbed and smacked the hoardings as he walked off without talking to anyone.

We also began the second half with a striker at centre back and a right midfielder who played right-back all last season and in the first half today, as a forward.

The game also had to be stopped so some Pompey and Oldham fans could try and fight each other on the pitch.

I'm struggling to put my response to that into words.

We lost 2-1.

Looking a bit grim for us this season. Performances have been really poor.

There is a real sense of teamwork this season, we keep going now even when we are in front. Last season we would have taken a 1 goal lead and sat back

There's a great 30 minute watch on demand on Sky called EFL Rivalries: East Midlands Derby. Certainly gets you in the mood for the game on Sunday!

Nothing wrong with the goal either

Burton were disgraceful, more players hit the deck faking injury than their possession percentage and the ref did strawberry float all about it

It’s annoying how Premier League refs that have a few poor games get demoted to the Football League. If they are poor then get rid of them, don’t inflict them on the rest of us!
