Is that a port of the current PC version?

Excellent, hopefully they strawberry float the mobile game off to avoid confusion.

This isn't for phones. It is for "limited high end tablet devices". FMH is still a thing unfortunately.

Oh interesting so this is a proper separate tablet version then. I'll need to read up some reviews.

Picked this up in the steam sale, so very easy to plow so much time into this game.

Just finished a 9 goal thriller against Tottenham, went 4-1 down at half time to win 5-4 after extra time.

Sorry to bump this old topic but I couldn't find a relevant recent thread.

FM 2017 is out today! Is anyone considering getting this, or started playing already?

The last Football Manager I played was 2012 (400+ hours and I still dip in and out) and I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade. I'm a little concerned by the mostly negative Steam reviews, but a lot of them seem to be people whinging that it's just FM16 with a lick of paint.

I'm giving serious thought to finally getting a recent FM. I'm currently on FM14 and have somehow amassed a total play time of 1384 hours  , so you could say I've got my money's worth and then some. I've only just started a new save as well, but I think I'm probably ready for an upgrade.

I read somewhere that lots of the negative Steam reviews have come from disgruntled Chinese players who want the game translated into local dialect, which SI aren't able to do. I'm sure FM17 is superb, just going to wait for some reviews to hit before making the leap.

So I took the plunge during Black Friday and got this, haven't looked back since. It's fantastic :toot:

Started with a bog-standard Man United save just to settle in and see what's different over FM14. So far it's pretty different but at the same time comfortingly familiar

Once I've done a few seasons with United I'll probably try my hand at creating a brand new club and imposing a strict under-24 age limit so I can have a team full of wunderkids 8-)

Open to suggestions for my team name...

On the new game, does anyone know how to stop the cup draws happening automatically and make it so you can watch the teams come out one by one as you used to? It takes some of the fun out of the game without it.

Been binging hard on this thanks to Self Isolation and watching Sunderland till I die. Trying to get them back up to the Prem!

Anyone else playing FM20?

Not 20 but I'm still plugging away on FM19 Touch on the Switch, clocked up about 400 hours I think. Took a bit of a break recently but like you the Sunderland programme got me back on it

Does it still have an editor so I can add myself as the football god I am?

The full-fat PC version has a proper data editor, but the Touch version has a more limited version. You can still add yourself in, but only if you create a club from scratch (replacing an existing club). I've done that on one of my saves, Gotham FC now dominate the Premier League from their 100,000-seater Batcave stadium :datass:

Sunderland Take over! Here's me looking at signing Mbappe and Camvinga.

It's fell through, I'm back at the free agents section.

Beta for 21 drops tonight, so if you've got it. Get ready. If you haven't CD keys have it for £25!

I was going to preorder it but I was genuinely worried that it would mean I spent less time on the PS5 when that turns up next week so i'm sticking to FM20 for now.

I started a new save a few weeks back where I was unemployed. Managed to get a job at Atenas de San Carlos in the Uruguayan second division and got them up first time of asking. Their top division there is strawberry floating weird where it's split into an opening part, an intermediary and then a closing stage and then after all that, the title is decided by a play off. I spent three seasons there, basically winning everything there was and resigned the day after winning the Copa Libatadores against the reigning champs River Plate.

I went on holiday for a year and then came back looking for a new job and i'm now in China managing Guangzhou Evergrande which means a new league and new regulations to learn, but i'm eager to jump in! Tempted to be a bit of a Harry Redknapp and try to resign some of my old players at the new club. My aim is to stay here until i've won the Asian Champions League before moving on to North America.

EDIT: Oh god - it's another league with loads of restrictions about players in the starting 11. I need to have 7 Chinese players in my starting line up, and one of them has to be Under 23. The team I have inherited is bloody awful and i've got four months before I can try to fix it in the transfer market. Just hired a whole new set of backroom staff (especially as my only scout was Samir bloody Nasri) so we'll see what I can do until then.
