Saw some of it on Twitter. Ashley sounds like a total parody

Carneiro has reached a settlement with Chelsea and Mourinho. Terms are confidential but given that she was reported to have rejected a £1.2million settlement earlier I'm guessing it's more than that.

I'm surprised Mourinho let it get this far to be honest.

I wanted more to be revealed about the worst club ever and their appalling little bastard of an ex-manager. Maaaaan, Chelsea turn my stomach. Good for her, though - I imagine she's been paid off handsomely to drop this.

I thought it went on as long as it did because Caneiro was just that pissed off at how she got treated.

I hope she got a *huge* settlement. Many times more than the £1.2m the club offered initially.

The end of the tribunal has meant he can now get on with his new job.

BBC are reporting that Erik Bailly is on his way to OT. Medical this week.

Whilst I'm happy to see him bringing in another CB, I was kind of hoping it was someone a bit more senior. Still, the first of a few signings I think, glad they're off the mark early doors!

Guess the Blind CB experiment is officially over too. then.

Hell of a co-inky-dink that the whole matter got settled after Mourinho and his reps showed up to the tribunal almost a week before Mourinho was due to attend but just in time to avoid Carneiro airing all the dirty laundry in public. I'm sure he just brought a big bag of feathers with him and offered it to her to avoid too much damage to his reputation.

Could be. Unfortuantely theres a lot of good managers out there at the moment, but Southampton seem to be play the cheapskate card. I do think Pell is probably most likely.

I think its likely whoever they get though will not be finishing sixth next season.

The one man I don't think will go is Howe. His connections to both Bournemouth and even Portsmouth are very strong, I just can't see him willingly going to Southampton, and I actually think it'd be a pretty unadventourous signing by the lesser half of Hampshire. ;)

Koeman to Everton, De Boer to Southampton. Makes sense to me.

The thing about Koeman is he's costing us what is probably an extra £7m (Compensation plus his big contract) when we could have just got De Boer who has a similar background to Koeman both as a player and a manager and would have probably had us play the same way anyway. People will say premier league experience is the reason but Martinez had 4 years PL experience going into Everton.

But I'm bias, my sisters boyfriend comes from a Southampton supporting family so them losing Koeman to us makes me feel bad.
