Will be nice starting the season with yet another newly promoted team I guess. Just just hope this season isn't a complete non-starter like last time otherwise we will be truly strawberry floated.

You seen the thing bouncing around Twitter about deulofeu? Spanish translator mistranslating the figure expected.

its a well known everton fan who started the rumour as a wind up. a lot of people who follow him cannot believe everyone has picked up on what he said as fact :fp:

I knew the rumor is bullshit because no major news sites were reporting on it. Somehow the story still ended up in the North Wales Daily Post.

Also I'm pretty sure Deulofeu slagged the club off on his way out, moaning that he didn't get played enough.

Hasn't actually played for us yet, was loaned out to Granada in La liga and then season just gone to Bordeaux. Had a nasty injury that kept him out of a fair bit of last season.

He's quick. Very quick, good passer of the ball and pretty composed. Was actually hoping he'd come back to us this season. He's on BT sport right now if you want to have a look.
or if you can't be arsed watching 90 minutes;

Hold the record for fastest sprint at Sporting too.

Not a bad first half but Portugal are dominating possession, they look like they have some tidy , quick passing players .Redmond and Kane for England have been good also lingard has had some good shots and played some nice stuff.Certainly a tough one though.

Nice. He sounds promising. Didn't realise the game was on BT.

England lost one nil, pity really as they played ok although I think defended too deep.Pritchard made a good difference when he came on along with Hughes .

I think the away kit may grow on me...

Just announced that trippier from Burnley has joined spurs. I did hear rumours about this happening over the last few weeks. I'm interested what's going to happen now as we also have walker and Yedlin .One of them is bound to go out on loan or sold . I thought trippier was good as well when I watched him so happy with the signing .

Tis very strange for Spurs to have Walker, Yedlin AND Trippier on the books, can't see Walker leaving anytime soon, maybe Yedlin's visa is buggered or sommat?

What kind of joke club has three right backs?

I'm looking forward to next season, I really hope with Debuchy starting he proves he's good enough, rather than just playing because of his age. Bellerin did really well last season so deserves his shot if it comes again. Although i'm more than happy for Jenkinson to play since I love him like he loves Arsenal.

I'm guessing that yedlin will be on his way out back to the MLS.

ISWYDT

I imagine one of Bellerin and Jenkinson will go on loan and Debuchy gets his place back.
