Far too much use of the word "bobbins" on this page, we've already exceeded our weekly allowance.

Kane has played 17 times for England (can't be arsed to check how many he started) and scored 5 goals. In probably the most underperforming and woeful England sides in history, I don't think that is a terrible stat for a young striker.

Amazing

You of all people getting triggered cos I made a joke.

I understand your point but its not like Messi who hasnt won a world cup, Kane has been absolutely bobbins for England. I think he's a great striker but have slight reservations about some things in his game.

Triggered? I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Everyone has been bobbins for England, it's a bobbins team full of players playing bobbins led by bobbins managers.

Kane's a good player but plays in a shite international team. It's not the same as when Steven Gerrard played bobbins for England while surrounded by better players.

That is a typical football fan view and its far too easy a get out clause.

The reality is England are a top 15 side and should be doing far better. That counts for all the players.

Kane had no goals and no assists at Euro 2016.

That's pretty much exactly what I said.

England are bobbins.
The players are playing bobbins.
The managers have been bobbins.

Of course England should be doing better, but they haven't been because of bobbins.

Kane is a good player, he doesn't suddenly become shite just because it is international football, he becomes shite because he is in a shite side. Not shite on paper, there are excellent players in that side, but because England just doesn't seem to work.

Nah. He still has the ability to shoot, he got plenty of chances, just did nothing with any of them. Kane in my opinion was our worst performing player, not a victim of the other players.

Nah what? I didn't mention his performance at Euro 2016 other than to say the whole team was woeful. Although I doubt we would have done much different if any other striker had played and it probably didn't help him that Hodgson had him taking corners.

I actually think some players came out of that tournament with their head held high weirdly. Danny Rose and Delle Alli were largely great.

Fair enough, I thought the whole thing was terrible, but then I am not the best person to judge them, I fell out of love with England a long time ago.

Oh and bobbins, just for Preezy.

http://sports.abs-cbn.com/football/news/2017/05/19/schalke-jerseys-payment-chip-part-sponsor-deal-26200
GELSENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) — Schalke's new jersey will have an integrated chip that will allow the wearer to pay for services as part of the club's new sponsorship agreement with an online supermarket.

The Bundesliga club says it will bear the logo of AllyouneedFresh on its shirt sleeves and that the logo contains a payment chip "so that all fans can pay with their jerseys" in its stadium.

Fans will be able to use it to purchase sausages and beer, for example. The deal is to run for four years from next season.

Players will not have the payment chip in their jerseys for games, however.

Schalke communications head Anja Kleine-Wilde tells The Associated Press "they rarely go to kiosks at halftime to quickly get a curry-sausage or a beer."

Kicker magazine reports the deal is worth around 20 million euros ($22.million) altogether to Schalke.

Schalke marketing chief Alexander Jobst says the club is "proud to be able to present a world-first in the jersey with integrated payment chip."

"Rarely" so plainly some legend of a player must go for a pint at half time now and again.

I bet it's Huntelaar.

The worst I can remember was Brentford v Doncaster a few years ago, when Brentford missed a last minute penalty and Doncaster went down the other and scored and took their promotion spot in the process.

Think Deeney did that for Watford too to get a playoff spot.

Millwall fans invaded the pitch at Wembley :fp: first fans to imvade the pitch at the new Wembley.

I do have to wonder why the pitch barriers weren't up though. They are normally down as you can see in this image.

Spanish third division side Atletico Astorga have unveiled their Incredible Hulk-styled kit for next season. I could imagine Ronaldo wanting to wear that.

I am so nervous about today, really hope we can win and scrape our way into a top four finish that we realistically should have had wrapped up about two months ago
