Man United season review:
Manager performance - 7/10Jose is Jose. Won 2 trophies (first United manager ever to win anything in his first season), got Champions League football, signed some quality players. But he did moan a lot and the squad issues later in the season were his own doing by selling the Schmidfield and Depay, so his moaning fell on deaf ears for me. I expect him to be better next season when he has cleared some more dead wood and brought in more of his own players.
Best player - Rooney. Just kidding. Bit of a tough one but I'd go for Antonio Valencia. Mr Consistent, he's fantastic and might be the best RB in the league. Plus he seems like the nicest most professional guy so it's easy to like him. Honourable mention to Herrera, the cheeky scamp
Worst player - Rooney. Not kidding. He is finished at the top level and needs to leave before he stinks out the entire club.
Best signing - Got to be Zlatan, all those goals
Worst signing - Mikhytarian - showed glimpses of his obvious quality, but had a very stop-start season. I reckon he'll be great next season though.
Season highlight - Winning the Europa League, genuinely loved it.
Season lowlight - the draws, my god the draws
Overall team performance - 8/10If they had lost the Europa League final then it would have plummeted to a 4/10, but in the end you support your team in the hope they win something, and United won 2 things and acheived a massive goal of getting back into the CL, so that can't be underestimated. Can't forget all those home draws though, hopefully they focus on finishing practice in pre-season.
