It is so, so dreary . Unfortunately it will never be changed.

It will in a few years. Unfortunately they will only be changing one word of it.

Following the alt-right populist uprising?

'God save our gracious Farage...'

No, following the coup of Charlie Windsor when he finally bumps off his mother.

Our Nige will put an end to the reptilian dynasty, crush the elites and bring order to the galaxy. We'll all get golden lifts and selfies with #45.

Close call there! (Back to the football.)

Why are we playing in blue? England at home should be white or red. Bloody PC gone mad.

The Germans paid for the stadium.

Apparently the FA want it fair to home fans who have purchased the away kit. Stupid reason IMO

More like they want to sell more kits.

Actually enjoyed the first half. Nice to see what the second string/youngsters can do.

How close is this to Germany's first team?

Playing in blue because of pressure from Nike, apparently.

They apparently didn't have the 'injury' problems that England does, I think it's pretty full strength.

I'm very aware of the tune, we must have wildly differing reactions to it. I want it played at my funeral. Get everyone crying

It's a bit too down beat for a national anthem (though I do like it).

That tune worked fantastically at the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics  .

I loved the opening ceremony as it was just 100% a celebration of all things British  .

I'm really happy for him. He deserves it.

Italy in real danger of failing to qualify for the world cup. :dread: I know this is hardly a stellar Italy side but a major tournament wouldn't be the same without them. Having grown up with Football Italia I've always had a soft spot for Italy.

To be honest, I didn’t watch the match but when I checked out at quick glance and I thought England were wearing white kit then I realised it was Germany. :slol:

What a stupid idea from the FA.

It's doubly bad when you have the pain of getting away from Wembley to look forward to.
