I'm sure the other Dutch clubs are going to be delighted with Ajax getting a minimum of 60m cash injected

So am I reading right or are BT just not showing the Europa League and Champions League finals on their free channel at all, only on YouTube?

Looks that way but it will be in UHD.

Can finally get Marco Silva in, Merson is no doubt spit-taking his morning pint as we speak...

I think he did a good job, from Everton looking like being in a relegation battle to to finishing 8th was a decent enough achievement.

Still, he will get a boatload of cash out of this and get another job in December/January when somebody else is struggling so I am sure he isn’t too unhappy.

He did the short-term job they needed, but he's not the right long-term fit for where they want to take the club.

As Moggy said, he got a load of cash and did his reputation as a "keeps clubs up" manager no harm so I doubt he'll be too upset overall.

Looks like Watford are sharpening the knives ready if that happens

He did what he had to, and that's why he's gone, he done the bare minimum. With youtube fan sites having a few cross over channels too, I now watch Toffee TV, not least cos 2 of my best mates are Everton fans (and ginger guy is genuinely funny). From Their point of view, Sam just didn't get the best out of the players at his disposal.

He took of Cenk Tosun from up front when they trailed 2-0 v Westham and put Walcott on when he could have had both and taken off one of 3 defensive midfielders. They aren't looking to finish in top 4 straight away but just a smidgen of adventure or vision or excitement would do. He did the same thing several times when Everton went behind and even when safe never EVER took a chance on anyone or any new formation.

I always thought Everton was too big a club for for him tbh.

Comes from after Everton sacked Koeman and basically begged Silva to come when he was still at Watford... His head got turned by it and resulted in a really bad drop of form...

I know that but don't know what grounds Watford now have to complain if he goes to Everton.

Similar grounds to Southampton's complaints regarding Liverpool and Van Dijk (illegal approach etc.)
