Nerve agent in Salisbury

Government says the two suspects named by the police are officers of the Russian military intelligence service (GRU):

Haven't been back to Salisbury since the time i was there just after it initially happened, might do so at some point, though i'll make sure not to pick up any random objects, or go rummaging through the bins.

Those 2 guys will already be at the bottom of a river in Eastern Russia by now, no chance the GRU would risk them being lifted by British intelligence. Would make a decent film though.

They were on holiday and nothing to do with the poisoning. Utter coincidence that they were here at the time and may have wandered up to the front door.

Guess we are back to the drawing board on suspects.

Part of me really wants to see petty insults being thrown around to ridicule Putin since nothing serious will actually happen. Things like referring to him as a Russian Dobby the House Elf etc.

They'll probably say that they didn't know how to use the zebra crossing near the station and so were unable to cross the road.

Yeah, I heard that on the radio a couple of days back.

Move on. They said they didn't do it and Putin has also implied they didn't do it. What other proof do people need? Give the poor guys a break!

All they wanted to do was look at the famous Salisbury spire. LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!

The suspects are quoted as describing the spires as, "huge, tremendous, they have a huge spire believe me comrade, the best spire, it's a beautiful thing what they have, really comrade, they should be so proud, people are saying it's the best".
