I'm enjoying this but the novelty is definitely worn off a bit.

It's always fun with friends but playing solo is a bit of a dice roll unless you want to camp in a bush the entire game.

They need a recon item always in the loot pool I think.

I've haven't been playing this as much as previous seasons. I'm not sure if it's the lacklustre season passes or just the map itself, but it's just not keeping me engaged.

During latest session, I went from the lowest imagineable low...

Finale was so-so but we'd been shooting it from across the road. It was great.

The best kill was before this one. I drove one of those big rig trucks into a player :lol:

I tried to keep an eye out for where they landed but I didn't see them fly off. I spun the camera around and there was their loot dumped on the ground behind me. I laughed.

The sound design in this to make you aware of your surroundings is exceptional. I especially love how if someone is pegging it about above me *I know* where abouts they are even though I cannot yet see them.

I mean Fortnite Crew makes sense if you want the battle pass and some discounted V bucks.

Plus if you sign up at the end of a season you get a free battle pass without paying for it.

For example I have the current battle pass but only because my crew subscription carried over between seasons.

I only ever sign up for one month at a time, just do it at strategic intervals.

You're right. I just didn't think it'd hook me like it has nor as quickly to the point that I'd spend money on it for cosmetics. It's freaking bizarre for me.

Logged on to do the Indiana Jones quests (not because I want the outfits but just to do it for the sake of it and to see how quests worked) ended up having some really funny moments. Like running into players with those huge trucks and sending them flying over and over, ambushing a driver while stood on said truck and wrecking their car with one heavy sniper shot, sending the same player flying with a shockwave grenade for giggles and ambushing Master Chief.

Yeah me and the misses have decided to do the same thing Strategic Crew sign ups.... helps you to get the most you can for the least you can.

John Wick was giving everyone grief on the in-world lobby so I started harassing him until match started. I then met him in the game and won against him. Got a dance in as well while he watched :lol:

Last couple of games I've done nothing but quests. The catch air with boat for 3 secs was very puzzling. And then I ran into the shark :lol:

The Chun-Li "back bling" and emote are FANTASTIC :lol:

Ryu's aren't :zzz:

First decent finish in 3 days. (2nd place.) Would have had a much better chance of survival if I had searched for weapons. (I had 2 weapons at the end!) But then, part of the reason I survived so long was that I was doing quests and so wasn't able to gather :slol:

But something I did learn along the way: those blue raspberry like fruits are OP. (Crazy good health regen.)

I'm doing the reality tree / sapling quest and it's totally thrown my game off kilter bc I now have to go farm the sapling in the story location instead of my usual spot, near the archaeological dig site. Well, that's what I'm blaming for all my piss-poor finishes for the past two days
