Well, that certainly is terrible on Nintendo's part for trying to force the phone app. I don't have any earphones with a mic available, but doesn't this only apply to handheld mode anyway?
I'm definitely going to see how the Switch version plays. I can't carry over all the stuff from the Xbox as I didn't create and Epic account, so I'm starting from scratch again.

Fortnite actually looked a load better than what I imagined it to be, online shooters aren't my thing so I probably won't actually play it.

Sounds like classic Nintendo re the voice chat! It sounds just loads simpler to just have it via the headphone jack rather than messing about with a phone app, Nintendo do make odd decisions quite often.

Polygon article on Fortnite confirmed that all you need to do is plug in a 3.5mm headset that has a mic included and it works...

. I don't get what Nintendo is doing with their phone connection method, then? I hope that this new development becomes standard!

I just played this on Switch and I haven't got a clue about what to do... but, in my first match, it said that I'd won .

But... I didn't shoot anyone. Everyone seemed to be on my side? (All white triangle marks on the map?).

I'm not sure what is happening lol! The controls or objectives aren't explained!

Great to see people giving them hell. It's crazy people can't play it on PS4 at home and on the go on Switch, keeping the same account, their progress etc. Hopefully the media step up and grill them about it too.

Seems a bit blurry on the big screen I would wager it's not even close to 1080p. Bit annoyed I tied my main pc account to ps4 but I suppose it's only cosmetics.

Had a few games on the Switch in handheld and it plays well looks pretty good. Cannot seem to find the reload button? The shoulder buttons seem a bit close together but I probably need more time playing as I only really play on the PC. Also Sony being twats about linking accounts is annoying .
