Well, we made it off the island (all the way), so technically, I think me and Zenigay won.

Frank and Zeni exchange nods. "We did it."

Zenigame approaches the bleeding mess of a corpse. "Too bad StayDead isn't here." He said looking at the gaping hole in Roonmastors face. He unhooks the golden rocket launcher from his back and examines it.

"Men! Toss the body over the edge, it will start smelling very quickly in this heat." Nathaniel orders.

Somehow, still alive, Roonmastor feels himself hit the water. He could feel nothing. Drifting downwards into the abyss he had one final thought that comforted him. "If he didn't shoot me, that damn brain tumor from the crown would have."

Goddammit, I killed StayDead! Why won't anyone believe me? :( I gave enough hints.

You sure did.

 Roon.

Regarding the "winner", I did say that the people alive at the end would be the winners, technically no one survived. Roonmastor did survive the entire game, only to be killed off in a situation that was out of his control. Frank and Zeni did escape the island, but as undead...

Undead = Living.

Therefore we won. 8-)

I'd agree with that Zeni. Nice to see Roon get what was coming to him. 8-)

strawberry floating hell! Last night. :fp: I blame the curse, personally. :shifty:

I had a great PM that I sent to Hulohot to explain my end of the game before he told me I couldn't take Manuel with me. Here is what was going to happen:

Wait for others to board the boat and begin to set sail.
Get Manuel to swim after them with me on his back. I will make my power move this turn to be that Frank's Golden Gun can't fire at me.
Give them an ultimatum. They either surrender all of their powers and weapons overboard and swear allegiance to me and my goals for a world utopia and making them my lieutenants, or die now.
I'll fire my Golden Rocket Launcher at Nathaniel's boat and blow them all up if one of them doesn't agree to my terms!
If they agree to my terms, they will be forced to seal the pact by them asking Manuel to make it impossible for them to betray me, meaning future betrayal will be impossible.
Manuel will swim for home and to victory!

...

Once back home, I will use Manuel to conquer the civilised world. I'll dethrone each King in turn and claim their crowns. Soon the armies of Europe will be under my control and the Roon Empire will march East towards Asia to fight for their lands.

I look after the families of the dead explorers, giving them enough wealth to live comfortably for the rest of their days, enough for the shrewd to keep their family financially stable for a number of generations.

The battles are long and hard but we finally make it to the Pacific Ocean by the time I reach 86 years old. I've built a utopia. Everyone's fear of my and Manuel's power causes everyone to live virtuously and my empire thrives with no major crime and a significant improvement in the quality of life. Taxes are low because security costs are almost non-existent. My people praise my work, calling me Roon the Magnificent and worshipping Manuel the Even.

I've had many sons to many wives, but I feel none have the strength of will to control Manuel's immense power. I consider having Manuel restore me to a younger age and making me immortal, but I begin to tire of this world and long for death. I don't pick a son to take my crown, and simply ask Manuel to continue our work as I breathe my last.

A power struggle breaks out between my numerous sons and soon we are in the depths of civil war. Manuel has his own army of loyalists whom he fights alongside to restore order. Foreign powers see this as an opportunity to destabilise the Roon Empire before it turns its attention to their nations and intervene. The first world war has truly begun.

Upon seeing the mass devastation that has occurred, Manuel sees the great work of the past destroyed and the true nature of mankind. He ignites himself and explodes on the main battle lines and wipes out 95% off all the battling armies. In the power vacuum, the Empire truly fractures back to somewhat traditional national states and begins to rebuild itself once more. Manuel is no more.

Then he told me Manuel couldn't leave the islands AND that I had to leave or the curse from my crown was going to kill me if I stayed. So I was forced onto the boat and the situation that killed me. (Oh, I never saw Hulohot describe me destroying the crown to stop the curse. I was supposed to do that straight after the collapse of Eyre Skye Castle, but I'm going to assume it wouldn't have made a difference).

With that in mind, I had no choice but to get into a situation where I was killed, so it doesn't really bother me too much.

Check back at 8/9 tonight for a rundown on each player. Secrets revealed and all that.

Also regarding power distribution. No one started out with a power, all powers were gained from doing an initial quest at the players home, or taking part in a quest with other players. Some players were shafted and left with nothing to do (Superking, Sykes, Kanbei, StayDead to an extent) which I will try balance out in any future games. Additional powers were handed out where I saw fit to do so. I intended powers to be rare, but decided that would make for a boring game halfway through.

To be honest Roon, Hulo had to do something to weaken you. You were way too overpowered with having control of the God which made the game very unfair for the rest of us for the most part.

In my original plan, after Frank shot you with the golden gun I was going to stab him in the back (literally) with my knife. But I couldn't bring myself to do that to him.

He also gimped my plan to carry out "Order 66", only letting me carry it out on 2 players instead of all known players if I knew their current location. That was before I even had the God (and Deadpool was controlling him).

I don't blame him for trying to reign me in after giving me powers that I was trying my hardest to cause widespread havoc with. Made things very interesting at least!

I do have some ideas I'll share with Hulohot about the next one he runs when I've seen the whole picture when he posts tonight.

This is from memory, so I'll try not to miss out too much.

Roonmastor : He moved into Eyre Skye Castle which was obviously once the home of powerful people. Whilst cleaning the dusty castle he stumbled across a secret room with a crown. Wearing this crown made him the king of Arcadia, giving him the power to evict people from their homes (Deadpool, Sykes) and change the name of the property (Brokenburg Castle, Burnt Toast, Pred's Party Pad) He was also given control of a personal army, Manuel the slave came from this army and was given to Deadpool as a spy. Roonmastor was responsible for the short lived Dreadmort outbreak after sending his troops to investigate the island above Brokenburg and luring them back. He also was responsible for the ninja muggings and murder of Frank and Deadpool as well as the controversial murder of nearly everyone towards the end.

Deadpool : He moved into Dusty Spires, the mansion in the desert. Within the mansion was a portal that led to any house on the map. Upon hearing about the treasure hunt quest to the underwater city, Deadpool used this power to teleport to Sykes' Mortuary and followed them to the underwater city, taking a golden rifle after everyone else left. However he was evicted by Roonmastor and lost the ability (this was the ability I advertised in the thread. "There is a great power somewhere in Offtopica") Deadpool had no other powers, but things got interesting when he bunked with Roonmastor. He used Manuel to destroy the Magnathorax and disable the bomb beneath Generalia.

Smurphy: A short lived player who claimed Mountain Peak Hut and was conciquently raped by the phantom haunting it. Smurphy had no powers, and was killed in the first quest to Pred's Party Pad. However he came back with a vengence halfway through the game, possessing StayDead to get revenge on The Master for running away from the fight at Preds' home, getting him killed.

The Master: Taking up home at Condemned Rocks, The Master also had no specific powers. He went to Pred's Party Pad, but upon getting attacked by Pred, he fled letting Smurphy get killed.

PsychicSykes: Choosing The Mortuary, Sykes had no specific powers other than owning a golden gun. He was killed in the attack on Eyre Skye Castle.

StayDead: Living at Unknown. Again, another player without any powers. StayDead was the target of an assassination attempt by Zenigame but managed to escape. He was possessed later in the game and used to murder The Master with his knifeypenis, then slain by G-Ratasaurus Rex, shot in the neck with a golden rifle. He was first tasked with luring someone to his home to kill them. If he pulled this off he would have been rewarded with a power.

Kanbei: Kanbei owned Island Paradise. First exploring the island he discovered a man in a jail cell with Arcadian Aids. He freed this man in return for a totem that would allow him to disguise himself as another player. He used this power to visit Pred's Party Pad disguised as The Master, which is why two Masters showed up. His island and himself were destroyed by Deadpool and Manuel.

Frank: He chose Brennenburg Castle and had no powers to start with but claimed a golden gun during the underwater city quest. His home was destroyed by the Magnathorax, then name changed by Roonmastor to Brokenburg Castle. Frank tried to rescue Pred after he was attacked and left for dead by Zenigames army, however he suffered a premoniton foreseeing Nathaniel turning evil and killing the sailors on the escape boat. Frank was killed by the ninjas under Roonmastors control, but was resurrected by Zenigame to help take down Roonmastor. They tried two times to stop Roonmastor, both plans were foiled but they managed to strike back on the escape boat.

Pred: Pred saw his home as a beautiful magical kingdom, yet in reality it was dark dull and dying. The spores from the lake area caused him to hallucinate and attack the other players visiting him. He killed Smurphy, thinking he was a monster. Pred was left for dead in the desert after being attacked by Zenigames small army, and was finally killed in the siege of Eyre Skye Castle.

Superking: His home at Deep Jungle was also home to a scary monster. He was attacked straight from the off, knocked out and put in his home. The monster continued to terrorise him until help arrived but a Deadmort attack foiled the rescue. Roonmastor used his army to save them all. I offered Superking control over the monster but he remained inactive after the reboot.

G-Ratasaurus Rex: The killer of StayDead (for the lulz), owner of a golden rifle. G-Rat managed to save Pred from death in the desert after he was attacked by Zenigame. He perished in the collapse of Eyre Skye Castle.

Zenigame: He was given the opportunity to control an army of old undeads, if he murdered a single player with a special knife. He first chose to go after StayDead but failed to kill him. Then he went after G-Rat who shot him dead. As he lay dying, he used the ceremonial knife to commit suicide and completing the sacrifice ritual. He came back as an undead with control of his army, unknown to most of you. He sent his army to murder StayDead for killing The Master, but the army arrived too late and found him already dead by G-Rats. He remained hidden (bar attacking Pred in the desert) and stepped forward at the end to help get back at Roonmastor.

I think that is most of it. If anyone wants to add anything you remember, I'll edit it in and highlight it red.

Well, the first plan was that I'd wash myself up on Burnt Toast (I had my eagle drop me off instead, much more glam), then you'd send Manuel to kill me (thinking I was the only other person alive), then Zenigame would sneak into wherever you were and kill you.

2nd plan was pretty much the same. Send the undead Army after Manuel, then me, Zeni, and some backup were gonna take you down. But Manuel caused that stupid Tsunami :x

Manuel :x

If I remember correctly.

The first plan was to have Frank pop up on the other side of the map from you. Hoping you would send Manuel to kill him. I would then use my power to disguise myself as you, intercept Manuel and tell him to strawberry float off. While at the same time my Army would attack and kill you while your God was away.

Sadly you never took the bait.

The second plan was to send the majority of my army to attack Manuel, and while this was happening myself, Frank and a couple of my soldiers would break into the castle you were last said to be in and kill you.

Sadly you had already moved on... and then you wiped out my army of wasters.

The beauty of always thinking one step ahead is...that I'm always one step ahead. If Hulo hadn't hit me with that final game changer two minutes before I went out for the night on Saturday, I'd have made it off the island alive too. As I was in a rush, I didn't have the time to think it through and got sloppy.
