I was also a little stunned as the other patches for X upgrades have been painfully huge.
This looks pretty amazing in 4K with HDR.

Hot Wheels DLC currently £4.18 (75% off). Been waiting for this reduction.

So they've updated the game to to 4k, but have they patched out the crashing/freezing issue that came about with the previous update?

Played this last night for the first time since Summer and it’s much better one the X. The load times are almost Driveclub fast now so those stupid challenges are not nearly as annoying as they once were.

Looking forward to playing it again if I ever upgrade the console and tv, but FH4 isn’t a million miles off. And they’re always so BIG - I want to clock one of these things yo, why you giving me 500 championships or whatever else. Crazy.

FH3 is a huge grind... doing the same races over and over again :dread: I did just find out you can "cheat" it though by creating your own championships, picking the track you need to do the championship on and then filling it out with 2 short laps to complete that championship, instead of doing the pre-made ones which are often multiple tracks and laps that drag on forever.

ORLY?

On that.

Forza Horizon 3 is absolute no grind at all when compared to it's European predecessor and it's 14KM "Road Trips" and 162 four race championships. That was hard work.

I skipped the second one as that was apparently pretty bad on 360. I was going to pick up the X1 version to see if it was any better than FH3, that's not the case? :(

What do you mean by ‘better’?

I quite liked 2, the 360 version was impressive in terms of how much they got out of the much older hardware to make a comparable experience with the x1 version. On xbone its still a lot of fun, even if its slightly lesser than 3 because it came out first. If you're going to pick it up i'd do so sooner rather than later as its next in line for the dlc chopping block now that FM5 has been delisted. It should go on sale before that happens though.

Can see a repeat tactic of Games with Gold than chopped just before Forza Horizon 4 if the plan is to release that this year.

It was good, just if you're gonna go for the complete all the Championships achievements prepare for a very long haul. And the Road trips are an appalling idea I can see why they were done away with.

I have all the DLC, been thinking about getting the disc version on eBay but it holds its value a lot. It's about £10 now which is hard to justify for an old game when I already have a few Forza's sitting on my hard drive to start/finish. Hoping it is a games with gold in the next few months

HK could be really neat. I have to admit I have no love at all for the off road stuff. The rallies and that ilk are cool enough but the whole smashing through fields and over mountains is more irritating than fun.

The concept art to me almost leaks a little NFSU.

Thank god! I was hoping for an Asian theme when "the rising sun" leak came about and then we got rumours of a Forza UK :dread: looks like those UK rumours were false thankfully.

Hopefully with a tight city type layout the series returns back to the Horizon 1 roots and we get actual tracks and not the wide open spaces with point to point routes through farm yards that make online racing completely boring and the in car view unusable.

People are also saying it’s old concept art.

Of course it is if the game's coming out this year.

There's nothing to think through.

If the game's coming out this year and it's been in development for 2 years then the concept art is probably over 2 years old, like you said, making it old.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here.
