You lot seem to be so unlucky when it comes to wheelspins. Meanwhile, I spin ten and get mostly money of around a thousand to fifty thousand per win, plus two cars. Not that I haven't also had bad luck.

Also, people really like abusing the custom routes to get the most money possible with little effort. Even some of those that look like they aren't like to throw something into the works to get the AI out of the way and extend the length artificially.

I still can't do the Daredevil daily forzathon challenge. Tried everything the past two days to get traffic to spawn and all of the roads are empty :fp:

Also on Microsoft Rewards for anyone that uses it... There's a Gamepass punchcard on there. One of the punches is to unlock an achievement on Horizon 4 however I already have unlocked them all :x If you complete them all you get 5,000 reward points which you can redeem for a £5 gift card etc.

Getting AI to spawn in freeroam is a nightmare. That weekly challenge to get trading paint skills I had to go in a street race, because even though I travelled all around the map, looped around the park numerous times in Edinburgh, drove up and down the motorway, and even ran back and forth on a drift zone and a speed trap, not a single one would appear. I'm wondering if the always-online requirement is somehow stopping them from appearing in numbers, as the small amount of time you get between leaving an event and getting back into Horizon Life usually brings with it a car or two passing by.

Yeh it could be the online that breaks traffic. Thinking about it, it does seem to happen when other players are nearby

Probably out the end of this month.

The 12 new seasonal events are going to be more of what weve been getting but with cr rewards instead of super wheelspins? They really need to triple the number of championships were getting.

To get other traffic o spawn for the daredevil etc, goto horizon life tab then horizon solo - other traffic will then respawn, get the achievement then horizon life tab and find new session to go back online.

How did we get to a point where a car game has strawberry floating hats as a prize for winning races?

They're like the sprays/voice lines/icons in overwatch - "prize every time" fluff to pad out rolling the dice and one of the telltale signs of planning to sell wheelspins for real money which at some point i suspect was pulled after lootboxed became unfashionable. I expect the next forza to have a dota/fortnite style battlepass for extra content/monetisation going forward.

My good fortune with the wheelspins continues. Not to make you all jealous, but I bought two super wheelspins. The first gave me £400,000. The second gave me £460,000 [300 and 160].

Jumped into some Team Adventure, and I'm in need of some better preparation beyond a certain few special vehicles.

I didnt get on well with the hypercars ive got for the seasonal championship. Had to take 3 attempts. I didnt like the Aventador FE or the Porsche 989. I manages to find a fast (but slugish in the turn) Mclaren Senna S2 tune which got me through though.

Which Hypercar are you guys using?

Two of my custom races and a Forzathon Live between them. And some slight audio problems.

What cars are people using for the off road races? I got a A800 tune for the Nissan Titan FE which is pretty good. And one for the Aerial Nomad, but im still not sure about that.

Also, has anyone bought Edinburgh Castle yet? Im too afraid of just getting really bad wheelspins.

I've got ten million with five more well on the way in these next few days. Just use a credits boosting Forza Edition on one of these easy money races, and at level 20 on road racing I'll be sure to pick up a few wheelspins along the way. Repeat twice more, and if lucky, that's a million.

I'm also very close to getting all achievements. Just a case of completing another Horizon story, getting that last barn find, two more co-op races, hitting level 5 on Team Adventure, qualifying for a league, and 3-starring a danger sign in a truck. Never have I been this close in any of the previous games this soon after its release.

Im interested in subscribing to your get rich quick scheme. Which particular easy money race do you do?

I don't have one that I always go to, but plenty on the eastern side of the map will be about three or five laps up and down the motorway while making sure the AI take a slightly longer route.

Edinburgh Castle bought!
I wasn't as lucky with the super wheelspins as I was hoping to be, only netting 1,405,000.
Seems I'll be slogging once again for that ten million for the second castle.

Im yet to get Edinburgh Castle. Got a Veneno from a super wheelspin and a Crown Victoria from a normal wheelspin. And ive just finished the British racing green story - Quite good, i like the reference to the Queen. Ive got about 500 cars and only bought a handful - the last being the Subaru rally car for the latest seasonal.

Just over ten days until Fortune Island, giving me plenty of time to get the near eight million needed I need for that other castle. Wonder if there's going to be property we can buy on Fortune Island? That'll be another great time sink to earn money.
