To unlock the Quadra Turbo-R V-TECH, players should look for an event on the map near Edinburgh called “_NIGHTCITY.EXE_.” This is a one-on-one race against the car where victory will then add it to player’s garages.

Anyone else struggling to connect online with this? Me and a friend were trying to play last night and neither of us could get in to a session at all. Kept throwing up a really long error code. It is actually doing this for about a week now for me, but this is the first time it actually mattered (as I am normally happy to play offline). Tried restarting the game etc but no luck.

Wow, this is a bit overwhelming isn't it? Started it yesterday, got to the bit where I'm in the festival proper today and now there's so much going on. I know Horizon 3 had a lot going on too, but with this it's constantly telling me about seasonal challenges, daily challenges, weekly challenges. I don't usually get FOMO but I'm not a fan of stuff that's only here for a bit then gone entirely.

Well, the challenges don't really matter since the only rewards are those you can get within the game anyway, and money isn't even that hard to come by to be able to buy them. There might be a few exclusive cosmetics behind them, but if you're never online racing such cosmetics don't matter anyway - since who else is looking at your character?

Is the Forzathon Live thing still active? Early on the game told me it's every hour, but now I get them popping up and if I drive to the location it's always starts in 9 hours, or 18 hours, which usually translates to quite early in the morning.

I would recommend picking a racing series and sticking to that until you do the big finale showcase and then moving on to another series.

The British Racing Green story is worth a go too. It features some classic cars and once you've got passed level 10 regardless of stars you get a nice Barbour jacket for your avatar to wear.

Hot Wheels DLC for a second game? If true, what kind of crazy layouts would they give us this time? And if true, would we get a more advanced track creator? Is this how Forza Horizon apes GTA Online in race creation?

Wasn't a fan of Hot Wheels DLC at all but it probably makes sense if they needed a new expansion at short notice due to covid delaying a new game. A lot easier to create some giant plastic tracks than create another Fortune Island/Blizzard Mountain.

Did anyone else get the 7-8GB update yesterday? It downloaded on Series X but not Series S and it hasn't seem to have done anything except make it impossible to play forzathon lives because it keeps stuttering

I'll probably redownload this overnight, weirdly the Horizon series has got me through some tough times, and they seem to have added a lot, and the idea of going wherever I want around a truncated virus-free England seems like some fun escapism right about now.

Yeah (on Series X), and then had it crash a couple of times when trying to start up, but once I was in, it seemed okay.

Damn. Hopefully they fix the stability on this soon as I've just started the addon content!

This is the game I've been playing the most since getting my XSX. The kids love it too.

Also, just won the La Ferrari on a wheelspin! Over the moon with that, speed trap challenges can eat my dust now.
Looks really out of place amongst my shitty C and D cars

Mexico? Now that'd be an interesting place to go. Great range of climates, with plenty of mountainous and tropical areas. There's even plenty of natural water sites, including a giant lake that's larger than the city it's near. Guess we'll just have to see when it gets announced - most likely at E3.
