Which Chvrches song(s) are we going to get this time, then? Horizon Pulse has always had at least one since the second game. It'd be a shame to not have one this time. Also looking forward to seeing which artists I get attracted to from any of the new inclusions. There's been a few, after all - including Chvrches.

I've kept away from a lot of the info, but I assume the Clubs are not coming back in any meaningful way? They were relegated to pretty much a community group outside of the game for FH4 right?

If probably bet on He Said She Said. That was the first track off the new album. That said didn't the producer say that they got some artists from games past to write tracks exclusively for various events in the game? Chvrches have history here, writing the main themes to Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Death Stranding. Maybe they wrote an exclusive track for the game?

I would love to see the full music selection. I always like the soundtracks, particularly the one from the 2012 original which I always play whilst driving to the point that my kids know all the words to songs like Lonely Boy by the Black Keys and Take a Walk by Passion Pit.

No idea if the producer had said that, but it would be fantastic if true.

So looking forward to this. Somewhat ironically this is the most excited I've been for a game pass game, yet like a sucker, I'll go for the car pass and VIP dlc to get the full fat experience.

No Chvrches, but that's still a great looking list of artists. And quite a few Mexican ones, if I'm reading those names right.

I just bought the Ultimate Upgrade. Part of me is a bit unsure about the general practice of it feeling like you need to spend £35 to get the full game despite already paying for Game Pass, but if there is one series I'll happily do it for it's this. Just thought I'd check my play time for the previous FH games, and it's 297 hours for FH4, 106 for FH3 and 77 for FH2, and I only started playing them when I got a Series X last November. I've hardly touched FH4 since they stopped putting new content in the Season rewards, so don't think burnout will be a problem.

I bought it last week too. I managed to save up enough Reward points to get it "free", but I'd have happily paid for it. It's really good that they've made it possible to buy just the upgrade. The base Game Pass version is still very much a full game of content, so I'm OK with forking out a bit extra for a load more stuff.

Music list looks awesome.

I am excited for this. I do pump a lot of hours into it. 30+ and so over the next couple of years it will be a brilliant 30 min play here and there game.

With a couple of exceptions that soundtrack would just get muted if I played the game.

I ended up getting the premium add on for £24 from Iceland. Hopefully they give the game away free like they did with F7 when it gets delisted.

A short chat about FH5 preview build after 42mins on Digital Foundry Weekly -

Performance mode appears to be native 4K.
Motion blur shutter speed is finally right in the 60fps mode.
60fps just has more aggressive lod pop in. Didn't find it every distracting. But personal choice.
Quality mode clears that up and more distance detail.
Doesn't feel worth sacrificing the 60fps for it.
Very fast loading.
Stunning & Phenomenal.
