Aside from a couple of issues with the AI, the single player side of things has been relatively seamless for me. So I’d say yes. I only started playing just before Christmas so I missed the original launch.

Haven’t done any of the online stuff yet though, although I have been connected throughout.

It’s much better, but there are issues. The single player is pretty much nailed.

If you have any interest in horizon arcade, it’s a bit hit and miss still, but it scales so even if no one joins, you can do it.

Online MP games are pretty good. Some reasonable loading times, but can be forgiven. Eliminator works pretty well now.

I still have a couple of issues with the weekly challenges and monthly series, but they are improved.

Dip in Buff, see if it’s enough for you to enjoy as you need.

The series X crashes have been fixed. Theres still the occasional bug for the daily objectives, but they are very few at the moment- maybe one or two per month. I dont know about friends convoys. MP races seem fairly solid.

But those are Land Cruisers in the screenshot attached to the tweet are they not? Which is weird since they aren’t currently in the game.

I miss my Hilux from FH4

It was tuned as a great cross-country machine.

They’re in the season rewards for the next two weeks - Land Cruiser from tomorrow, Hilux from next week.

Oh, fantastic! I did think they were an odd omission from the auto-show, but they are obviously holding some back for season rewards which makes sense.

Hadn't they announced the first expansions by now for previous games? I know Horizon 5 was later to release than the last few, but normally the first expansion came before Christmas. It can't be far off.

FH4 out 2nd Oct, 1st expansion announced at XO18 on 10th Nov which then came out on 13th Dec so yes it was. Who knows with FH5 though, it may be another 3 years to FH6 so they may space the expansions out more.

The weekly challenges are a bit of a piss take this week. First of you need to buy a special car (£4M) in the special car menu of you are lucky enough but the real biscuit is the final part of the chapter to drive 100 miles in a car that only does 150 tops.

They are taking the piss out of us.

The trial is easy this week again though. 1st time.

Are there any smash challenges this week? I need one more to finish the game and delete it from my storage.

Made even worse by the weekly challenges being so glitchy, you really need to complete them in one session or risk losing your progress.

Wonder if the treasure hunt will work this time.

Yeah, it’s annoying. They know they have glitchy challenges and then they make them so you can’t do it in one sitting. I reckon the weekly forzathon will take 90mins to do. The whole point of Forza horizon is you dip in and out (y’know, between work calls!).

It’s addictive the weekly challenges but annoying how they set them up and work.

At least you can wrack up the miles during races. I'd set up a few races up and down the highway just after the game came out, as they were always good for earning credits. 15 miles a lap of it, and a lap takes about 5 minutes in the one I've turned for S1. You could probably squeeze a bit more speed out of it by going into S2.

That’s totally joyless, though. This game’s meant to be all about having fun. God knows why they set it to 100 miles. Maybe it was meant to be 10.
