Forza Horizon 5 (Xbox/PC/Cloud/Game Pass) Let’s ¡Go! Over 37m players.

A few things I've noticed from the patch notes -

Eliminator - Randomised position of Eliminator car drops
Horizon Arcade - Score target now scales based on number of participants
Horizon Arcade - Prioritise grouping players in larger groups when event starts
Horizon Arcade - Reduced the completion requirements as part of Festival Playlist
Added ability to jump to rewards in the Accolade menus
Fixed an issue where Seasonal PR Stunts would state 1mph/1ft/1m more required despite meeting the completion criteria

The update has done something to the game on PC for me, just says ‘error, something on our end’.

There’s a new section in Accolades! Evolving World. Seems to mostly relate to the next season, so maybe shouldn’t have appeared yet.

Saw people on Resetera complaining about increased load screens after the patch. I just bought a car and now I’ve had the saving, please don’t turn off device message for 30 mins. If I turn this off and it corrupts my save I might cry.

Loading after a race is insanely slow on the S now.

One of the achievements is wrong, btw. The description says it’s for photographing 200 cars, but it’s not. It’s for photographing 50 Legendary cars, and the description changes to that once it’s unlocked.

Still sounds a bit knackered so I’ll continue to steer (wheeyy) clear.

Theres reports of that on the official forums and reddit too. Mainly on the series S and series X - is that what youre on? They do tend to say the save files didnt corrupt - but its still dodgy.

I got a series X yesterday and now im scared of playing the game.

One thing that ive learnt at work is to never release anything on a friday. It sounds like PG have strawberry floated up again big time.

I played it all yesterday evening, and apart from one instance of long loading after a three-part event, everything was fine.

Yeah I’m on Series X. I eventually closed the game and all seems fine but it makes me a bit hesitant to play right now.

Loading is a bit slower in general and saving problems when applying tunes.

The update last night has broken the PC version for me. Just won’t load in now, but it might be a PC/windows store issue as it’s shows as ‘an error our end.

I've been having longer load times since the patch too, i'm series X, but ive just experienced something bizzare,

I tried to do the seasonal Playground Games, only 3 cars were moving in Infected and I was getting infected right away from invisible cars, then in the Team King game I was spawned on the other side of the map. :fp:

I then tried to drive to the area 9km away and got kicked due to inactivity.

It's completely broken. :slol:

Edit: Went to buy a car, it's now been stuck on the Saving Content screen for the last 5 minutes, i'm afraid to turn it off :dread:

Had a blast playing Eliminator tonight, so much fun.

Somehow they've managed to break the game even more :fp:

Latest update has broken the game for me. It updated (15.2Gb) but now when you press play on the PC app it takes you to MS gaming services. I’ve repaired and reset the game, it now shows ‘install’ but it won’t actually install now. Painful.

I’ve played a lot, and it’s great fun. There is an error kicking around. Problem is, I can’t get into the windows install folders to delete the contents. I fix I saw online was to reset the app and then force the game to check the old install location, so it will see it’s all there.

But yeah, painful at times. Hoping halo goes better Wednesday.
