I accidentally joined an Arcade session yesterday. I was just belting through the area when it happened to start. I stopped for a few seconds to check there were other people playing, and when the counter started to tick up I figured I might as well join in. We scraped by the last round with about 5 seconds to spare. Good fun.

Knocked off a few of the weekly playlists today and it was fine. Just avoided the parts where the infinite saving bug could pop up.

Frustrating it’s happening, and seems to be isolated. Googled around and loads of fixes link back to resetting stuff and look back to gears 5 issues.

This seems to work now. Just did a drift Arcade with one other player and we completed the three rounds in less than four minutes. It’s maybe too easy now!

I did a speed one on my own yesterday, and I cleared it with about two minutes to spare.

I'm certainly not complaining!

One neat feature that I just noticed: for the Accolades that require you to go from one point to another in a set time, if you pin that accolade, the main screen tells you exactly where to start, and it provides a countdown timer that only begins once you set off.

Yeah, when I ran through those I would pin each one. Place a waypoint for the end location, then fast travel to the start. They're easy enough as long as you know the way. But don't go into any menus while attempting them, as that will reset the counter. Same is true of any connection issues that might happen as well.

Solved. Lots of info online. Seems to be linked to the ‘Xbox gaming services’ app and it not being updated/installed properly. Fixed through a power shell commands to force update.

There’s a new 2.5GB update. Don’t know what is in it.

Also, the cars that can be won in Seasons 2 and 3:

Season 2 looks good but season 3 has the Ferrari FXX-K Evo. 8-)

Got it working this morning, crashed on loading into the game just now. I’ve not seen the 2.5Gb update, so maybe that. I’m having a ‘mare with the Xbox app.

I’ve heard it’s canyon run, or 3, trail blazers. But I’ve done that and nothing shows.

You’d think they be beyond bugs season challenges by now.

The clue implies to 3 star a trailblazer - but it doesnt activate the treasure chest circle. Ive tried it with a stock car, and one id previously 2 stared only (ive completed the rest mate). Its apparently got to be a "fresh" trail blazer, - so its similar to the earlier bug where you couldnt do the story / expedition daily if youve already done them. Googling and redditing seems to collabarate this.

That is so aggravating. They put The Trial in the first week, encouraging people to rush through the festival, then lock people out of playlist events if they’ve progressed too far.
