Hello GR, does anyone know of a reliable free web hosting platform?

Reason I'm asking: I have 70MB of HTML on my laptop that combines to create, in its entirety, the final form of the now-extinct (AFAIK) website Press Start Online, which was founded by GR's very own rudderless back in the original Gamesradar forum days, and was provided to me in offline HTML form by (I think) Aneurin.

My idea is: I find a reputable free web hosting platform, upload the content, and then it is online, forever, for anyone to enjoy (not just me).

So first of all, does anyone have any recommendations as to a platform I could use (and also, if you could advise as to how I'd do this, I'd be grateful :slol:

)

Secondly: do any of the PSO crew, particularly rudderless, object to this idea? Please let me know. Quoted for noted, below.

Couldn't we just host it here?

We have the capacity to host 100 websites like this if we wanted to. We can do anything with the server.

Something like press-start.grcade.co.uk or pso.grcade.co.uk

A blast from the past! I've no problems personally, though I'm not sure I'd readily admit to writing whatever self-indulgently convoluted stuff I did back then!

No objections from me! It's nice to be remembered.

I loved writing for PSO, although I have no idea if any of my stuff was actually any good. It's definitely better than anything I've done since though. My highlight was the trip to London for the GRAW preview event, including an interview with one of the devs which somehow wasn't a complete car crash. I seem to recall that we were invited all of one day beforehand.

The Head/Heart scoring is still kind of an interesting choice looking back, considering how weirdly vocal sections of the internet have since got over objectivity and subjectivity.
