So this is an open world fantasy RPG, more along the lines of TW3.

im actually very concerned about this. im sure others have said this but i share the sentiment that Souls games are often a bit shonky, which is helped by a tight focus and neatly designed, independent (pretty much since DS1) areas. making this open world and 'bigger' means i worry the shonk will outweigh the game's quality.

Have only seen the horse one but will hold off really even giving these a second thought until it's officially out. I pray this game isn't just building off the Souls foundation and simply adapting it to a bigger open world.

The best Dark Souls is the first one and a large part is down to the larger interconnected space designed for the first half, if they can put something together with that level of cohesion then I'll be pleased. The later games with their single independent spaces are all worse for it IMO

I’m not quite sure what the game is going to end up being though, a Skyrim esque RPG? An open world Souls game? The couple of videos don’t really show but we’re not exactly meant to have seen those anyway.

I haven't watched the leaked vids to avoid spoilers; but I am keen for (official) news on the game. I'm thinking that it will launch on older consoles as well as the newer ones? At least, I hope so!

Looks like another dark souls game. That's all I wanted. Hopefully it's next gen and pc exclusive and is locked at 60 FPS.
