At least the half I could see.

The Long Night all over again then?

I’ve still only 3 episodes into this, at this point I might just wait for it all to be out before watching it.

Episode 8
Hats off to Paddy Considine, Viserys' scenes got me pretty emotional this episode :(

Incredible stuff. Definitely an Emmy-winning performance in that ep.

Looks like it all kicks off next week.

Fantastic episode, lovely stuff. Cannot wait for next week after watching the trailer.

One question I had from weeks ago and forgot to ask, why did Viserys and Alicent decide one of their sons (Aegon) should marry their daughter (Helaena)? Marriages seemed to always be about bringing houses together for political gain and power, yet they just suddenly decided to marry them to each other when they were younger for no reason.

Allegedly the actor for Aemond Targaryan wasn't also the lead singer for AFI just with bleached hair but I'm not having it.

I've not been the biggest fan of this season overall, but that scene of Viserys being announced and walking through the throne room is somehow one of the most powerful scenes in all of Game of Thrones.

I'm not enjoying this much, the main reason being that I don't find any of the characters likable. A bit more action wouldn't hurt either.

I've belatedly watched episode 7 and it was ridiculous. Couldn't see anything for the first twenty minutes until I tried turning on HDR for the first time. HDR made it completely visible but not everybody has that.

Was quite the ending to the episode, all in all a very good series I thought. Still not convinced me to start watching game of thrones but I’ll stick with house of the dragon.

I'm still amazed at how little buzz there is for this. The last series of GoT really strawberry floating tanked people's interest huh.

Yeah it sadly has, I guess all of the intrigue about the Prince that was promised/Azor Ahai prophecy stuff they’ve put in, definitely in the early part of the season kind of kills a little of the story when you know the Night King was defeated in a night by someone more or less unconnected to the prophecy the Targaryen kings have passed down to their Heir. There is still a lot of excitement for this though, the viewings were apparently the highest since the Game of Thrones finale.

I’m going to just get this on Blu Ray and just binge watch it that way, the couple of episodes I caught were good and it definitely sounds worth a watch. I want to watch series 8 of Game of Thrones again but just can’t bring myself to do it

Really? It’s averaging 29m viewers per ep in the US. I feel like its the biggest show right now. Not seeing any buzz for Andor etc.

Final sequence in the finale was phenomenal. So well shot, tense and a… crunchy ending.
