Why didn't Bran just ride the dragons to mordor?

Because he's Stark raven mad

Endgame because GoT is just pure slapstick now.

Bran is going to kick the bucket in episode 1 when all the other characters realise what a tosser he is and decide to all gang-up on him and give him a good old fashioned shoeing.

GoT will have to do something special to top that.

End Game.

I have enjoyed (most of) GoT, but it's not my go to TV show. Too many annoying characters for my liking.

The season might not have ended just yet, but I'm pretty sure we can say Endgame came out on top of this one.

Honestly? I’d still probably make the same choice (GoT s8 over Endgame) purely because I’m still far more invested in it as a whole as opposed to the MCU. GoT season 8 should have been a lot better than what we’ve got though (don’t see the last episode changing that much really) but for reasons the show runners didn’t want to do seasons 7 & 8 as full, 10 episodes seasons so it all feels very rushed.

More for budget per episode. And they want to leave fast enough so they can throw themselves into their new Star Wars trilogy.

More budget per episode still didn’t help Ghost get more screen time though. I still think them wanting to move onto Star Wars is the main driving force behind the condensed and rushed season 7 & 8 :(

Compared to Season 7, technically it did.

Thrones has been more enjoyable this season thanks to my absence from the discussion. I should have had a hissy fit in season five and saved myself a load of aggro.

Endgame was more satisfying and clearly less divisive.
