I'm not that bothered by that as they are supposed to be the equivalent of nuclear weapons for the Thrones world so being able to destroy structures with a breath weapon doesn't seem all that crazy.
We are also now looking at a full grown Dragon here and the progression of it's powers has been pretty linear. There's a reason Dragons make everyone gooseberry fool themselves at the mere mention of them and any army that has one is considered almost unstoppable.

The dragon flame melts the binding material (King's Landing Premium Mortar™) and the concussive blast dislodges the masonry.

I hope the contractors/council are held to account.

Luckily for them all the people who signed off on the construction are now dead so I'd say it's all Brans fault now for not using his awesome future vision to let them know about this problem.

There was one line of dialogue 5 seasons ago that hinted blue flavour dragons are less powerful.

To be honest Star Wars might actually better suit their writing style.

It'll be great until whenthe final film of their trilogy is only 30 minutes long because they got offered a new job somewhere else.

“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened”

I mean it’s Star Wars so however good or bad it’ll be I’ll still watch it, with them only having a few hours to tell a story the rushed plot line might actually work out better for them though? Might just be me trying to stay hopeful

At least it's not as bad as Dexter season 8. :dread:

So fitting for season 8. :(

I've enjoyed the memes ripping into this season more than the show itself.

Just as a counterpoint to the (pretty substantial) criticism about the shows final season, I thought this was fairly interesting (although amusingly, probably a bit too short to make its sound enough points in enough detail....)

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I don’t think everyone thinks Dany should have remained “good”, just that her descent into evil/madness has been too quick. I sort of agree, the pace has been way too quick this season, but I think that article is right that she was always going to turn out to be a bad guy.

With more episodes they could have shown her falling into madness/evil and there would have been less complaints. Except from those that named their daughters after her of course....

I did laugh when Cersei went on about "Nobody has taken the red keep in xxxx years", well what's so strawberry floating special about it... it's red? It's a strawberry floating dragon shooting fireballs.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

That's not a great counter point to the criticism though. It's only focusing on the plot point itself, not the writing, character development, pacing etc which is the main aspect of many people's complaints.

I'm sure there are plenty of people unhappy that the YASSS QUEEN has turned out to be a mass murdering psychopath. Their own fault for projecting onto her, I guess.
