I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned but the reason they fast forwarded two weeks after Jon killed Dany was because they literally had no idea how to film the scene where Greyworm and the Unsullied discover Jon in the throne room and what he had done.

Greyworm and The Unsullied would have instantly executed Jon and then killed Tyrion. That’s why they couldn’t do it and that’s why they jumped forward a fortnight.

Tyrion even made some terrible excuse as to why that didn’t happen, saying it was because The Unsullied were worried about it starting a war if they had killed Jon.

A war? These double hard bastards were bred exclusively for that reason. They wouldn’t have cared less if it had started a war. Their Queen had just been murdered in cold blood and they decided to take the perpetrator prisoner instead? Laughable - Especially as we’d just had a whole scene showing how ruthless Greyworm had now become.

Although, I just chalk it up to another strawberry float up in the long line of strawberry float ups that has been this final season.

I’m glad it’s over now and I can move on.

He should at least have singed eyebrows.

He's a Targaryan and thus immune to dragonflame. Probably.

This would have made a lot more sense than the dragon deciding to burn a metaphorical piece of furniture he's never seen before.

To be honest he could have said Drogon went mental, Dany tried to calm him but it didn’t work, she got bit (hence the blood) and then he flew off with her screaming never to be seen again.

As in the snow snow, not Jon Snow.

Jon is an honourable guy though. He wasn’t the sort to tell a lie even to save his own skin.

How he went from the throne room to the cells wasn’t shown. I agree the Unsullied would have just killed him, but do we know if it was the Unsullied that found him, it could have been anybody who then whisked him away to safety? Or maybe Grey Worm and somebody else found him and Grey Worm was persuaded that Dany would have wanted Westerosi justice to be served?

Yeah it’d never be an option for him but as he knows even Ned Stark was prone to telling the odd lie to keep people safe (although not himself).

It’ll be good to see if there’s any deleted scenes when this comes out on disc, just to see how much and what was cut. Why they didn’t even show a small scene of Jon being discovered then escorted away is an odd omission.

I do like how the concept of being 'honourable' went from literally that with Ned Stark to 'never question anything, you made your bed you idiot' with Jon.

I think Jaime had the most disappointing arc ever. Great character, one of my favourites, develops a lot, reverts back to square one in the end. It was so stupid.

I hated how he said “the innocent people meant nothing to him” despite fighting the dead for the living and killing the mad king to stop him killing innocents.

Did the writers think we are all stupid?

Sounds like the actor was constantly at odds with the writers over his direction
