Based on the first episode, I was a little gutted when she didn't get her tits out.

Apparently the second episode is the weakest of the lot. If so this bodes very well indeed.

Just watched episode 2, was very good despite not an-awful-lot happening.

Also, as fit as that bird from Hollyoaks is, it totally ruined the scene for me because I hated her character in Hollyoaks  :fp:

Oh and how good is the dwarf that plays the Queen's brother? What a superb actor.

Rooooooxaaanne

Anyway, that was a fantastic episode, and if it proves to be the weakest of those left then it bodes very well indeed for the remainder of the season.

Tyrion, like in the books, is proving to be my favourite character - and similarly Catelyn Stark one of my least favourites, after the obvious Lannister bastards (make my blood boil, they do).

My outside favourite portrayal so far goes to Viserys - the guy oozes "obsessed, deluded nutjob as a result of years of inbreeding". Maybe that's coloured by the books though, as he hasn't had a lot of screen time.

The eldest Starklings, Robb and Jon Snow, could again be interchangeable and you wouldn't notice. I imagine they'll come into their own now they've gone their separate ways.

I dunno if there was any point spoilering that - but you can't be too careful!

Yeah I thought that too, neither has really been given the time to show enough of their characters.

I know I said I wouldn't mention the books but am I right in saying Cat didn't find that blonde hair in the book? Sure I don't remember that happening

Anyway enjoyed the second episode, they seem to be progressing quite well with the story, cutting out stuff that would have slowed things down too much.

Quick question.

Rewatching episode 2, in the bit where the Starks and the counsellor guy have a meeting to discuss what to do about the whole Bran thing, who's the young lad who says that he'll backup the eldest Stark son? Oh and what's the eldest Stark son's name too?

Is there any significance to the fossilized dragon eggs?

Finally got round to watching the first ep last night. Really enjoyed it.

Also worth mentioning there's a interview with the author on Sky Anytime.

Author looks like Santa.

Wasn't that another Stark? That's why after the mum said they couldn't go because there needs to be a Stark in Winterfell? As far as I can tell there is Bean and his wife, Bran, Arya, the stupid teenage bitch daughter, and the 2 you mentioned. Wasn't that the 5 stark children for the 5 wolves? Then there was the bastard Snow? I wouldn't take my word for it though as HBO shows always have me forgetting who the strawberry float anyone is for a few episodes  .

Wasn't he just like a servant of the family or something? Looked kinda ugly to be a main character

That's what I would have thought too but the eldest one was complaining to his mother that the youngest brother (6 years old he said) was being left without a mother while she was holding a vigil for Bran.

Maybe he has the aging disease?

Nah you're right. I remember getting confused at that part too. Hmmm, hopefully someone can pop in and tell us as I hate looking for characters ever since IMDB just started telling me how many episodes each character was in a series for :x .

He was being told some seriously private information for a servant though. That's why I thought he might be important and that I could have missed his introduction.

Yeah I know I could easily check online too but i'm really afraid of spoilers for this since there's info about the books everywhere.

We're screwed then until someone saves us. Preezy could be right though. Might just be a really trust worthy servant, or Starks manfriend :shifty: . It's a show based around English actors, so I'm sure there will be some homosexual references thrown around.

The Stark family - Eddeard (Bean) and Catelyn, the five children are Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran and the youngest Rickon, while Jon Snow is Neds bastard who is of similar age to Robb.

I'm pretty sure we saw them all in the lineup when greeting the kings party, as the kings meets and greets each of them. Regarding the other one, without going back and checking the episode, i'm sure the one your talking about is Neds ward Theon Greyjoy.
