Not yet. He would be if Bran actually decided to share information.

Littlefinger isn't on Aryas list but she'll probably kill him if Bran tells her about his scheming, which I'm sure he'll have seen by now.

SkyAtlantic did the whole "If you have been affected by anything in this episode..." bit after the show.

So! What in the show have you been affected by?

I'm guessing the flaming deaths of all those Lannister soldiers might upset people affected by the Grenfell tower fire as its still fairly relevant in the news.

The gold was already taken to King's Landing.

You sure? Pretty sure it was in the caravan that Daenerys attacked.

Hence why Gatiss was all 'Well then we'll be all fine and dandy....ONCE THE GOLD ARRIVES. BE A REAL SHAME IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO IT'.

Just before the attack Tarley said that the gold had already been taken to King's Landing. That was just before he suggested flogging stragglers.

Bronn's gold is strawberry floated, but the Iron Bank's gold was safe.

Also the impression I got from the conversation was that some of the army had already crossed the river as they were commenting about having to hurry up as their lines were getting too stretched and would be vulnerable. So this couldn't have been the whole of the Lannister and tarly army taken out.

Great second half of the episode, the dragon looked strawberry floating terrifying unleashing that power, just as it should be.

Noticed how they made a point about wealth being heavy, then reminding you Jamie has a big heavy metal hand along with his posh (plot) armour. Then Jerome chose not to pick up his heavy bag of gold, so I'm guessing it will allow him to save Jamie.

Dat strawberry floating dragon :datass:

What was it Theon did that was so bad? All I can remember is his Reek stuff :shifty:

Oh and Brandon's acting is really really bad. I realise he's supposed to be in a sort of meditative state but strawberry floating he'll it's like he's channelling the bird from twilight.

Before all the Reek stuff he betrayed the Starks and tried to take over Winterfell.

Did we see what happen to the Tarly father and son? I'm sure they just vanished. Last I remember was the younger one saving Jamie and the older one commanding the army before the attack started.

Yeah - I realised my mistake - it's not the whole Lannister army but a portion of it. Still a huge blow.

It looks like the Tarlys will either have been captured or are dead.

Great episode.

Doesn't it bother anyone else that they're not actually dragons though, but winged drakes or wyverns?

Dragons have arms and they're tiny for dragons. Obviously the massive skulls under kings landing are proper dragons. Dragons are supposed to be massive, these things are pretty much just giant horses. Also only dragons breathe fire.

It's disappointing when Harry Potter is more mythologically accurate. Maybe it's an American thing.

I mean biscuits are scwuns? Really? strawberry floating get it right, yanks.

Edit: I think I have it. Someone just googled "bearded dragon" and stuck on some strawberry floating wings, they're almost exactly the same.

They are bigger and properly wrecking gooseberry fool though, that battle rocked my sound system.

I'm pretty sure in the lore, the dragons continue to grow until they die. Viserion and Rhaegal are smaller because they were chained up and confined for a season or two.

But yeah, Balerion's skull is the big one under Kings Landing:

What are you using to judge how fast/slow it was?

Unlike the other travelling feats which are less easily explained - this one is fairly straightforward. Tyrion mentioned that they still had ships enough to ferry the Dothraki. From Dragonstone to the Blackwater Rush is a fairly short distance. They'd only have needed to land a little up or down the coast from King's Landing. They've travelled that distance in the time (by sea and Land) It has taken the Lannister army to march from Highgarden to the Rush.

I don’t understand the teleporting complaints. Would people rather they spent 4 or 5 episodes showing an army marching around?
