I didn't get a good look at it and couldn't be arsed to rewind, but what was the note Arya found in Littlefinger's room?

I assume he's setting her up somehow?

It's the letter that Sansa was forced to send in season one. It denounces Ned as a traitor and asks Robb to bend the knee. Robb responds to it by calling his banners. Littlefinger is hinting that Sansa was partly responsible. Even though Robb and Maester luwin at the time knew she had sent this under duress.

Ahh, that's not a bad way of splitting the sisters up. It'll probably backfire spectacularly on Littlefinger though.

I think she will but probably not for a while yet. Eventually all his scheming is going to come out and she'll cut him to pieces.

Littlefinger is such a sneaky strawberry floater.

He's a sly strawberry float. He's bound to come unstuck, though.

I saw a Tweet earlier that said something like "When they meet the Night King they'll find out that Littlefinger has already made a deal with him".

That plan... why? I could understand it before the last ep, but after her army was obliterated? What the hell is convincing the brother strawberry floating queen going to achieve? Such an odd plan even without the whys and wherefores. I just hope they remember not to cross the streams.

I don't understand the reasoning behind it either, Cercei won't care about the 'army of the dead' but whoever goes to Kings Landing will be heading straight to a black cell.

Besides, she'll probably just let Qyburn try to turn the wights into more zombie ser Gregors.

Really impressed Sir Geordie, Him from Skins & Tyrion managed to get from Kings Landing to the Wall in 5 minutes.

Meh, dull filler episode for me. Really starting to get fed up with plot contrivances driving the big characters together too, it's just silly.

At least next weeks should be more entertaining.

Would you rather they spent 3 seasons showing them walking? It might have taken weeks/months, we just don't need to see it.

The really inconsistent thing is how slow the White Walker army is. At the length of time it's taking them to walk to the wall, they really don't seem a threat, you could outpace them by barely moving yourself.

And now with an end date in sight they've decided we don't need to see the actual traveling over 30 episodes.

They've written themselves into a corner so they're breaking continuity now.

It's a bad show really.

Anyone else get a fantasy football feeling at the end of the last episode?

I'd have The Hound as my captain I think.

So, who does everyone think will die and/or survive the trip beyond the wall?

Sandor and Tormund will survive, Jon will die and Thoros will die resurrecting him, Beric dies because Thoros resurrects Jon, Gendry dies and Ser friendzzone gets turned into a wight.
