I'd agree to a certain extent with Parksey.

Don't worry, it will all leak soon so you can watch an abridged version someone has filmed on their phone using Barbie dolls or something.

I read in the telegraph the other day that a reasonable estimate is that with filming and post production - it will be later in the years that it airs. September 2018. That seems reasonable and achievable.

As long as it's a fitting end and Cersei wins while still being totally super evil I don't mind.

Maybe the last episode can just be her laughing at all the other contenders who she's now imprisoned and awaiting a grisly death.

Tbh - I still kind of want to see some girl on girl action between Yara and Dany.

What you'll get is girl on girl action between shame woman (Can't remember her name) and Gilly and like it.

Septor Mordane? She is quite lovely IRL.

As is Gilly. I'd be all over that.

Joking or lust aside. It's going to be Dany at the end.

Or the Night King. I'd actually like that.

I also wouldn't mind the dead winning.
It could be quite interesting as a follow-up series to see the remaining humans being used as cattle to breed and make more walkers and a resistance forming.
Then again it could get as gooseberry fool as Falling Skies at the end which would be a crushing disappointment.

The reaction of Essos to it would be great.

The only problem with the dead winning is the economy will suffer quite a bit as the dead don't seem all that enthusiastic as consumers and they don't seem all that inclined to go and get a job, the lazy bums.

Was awake so just watched it as it has aired legitimately. No doubt criticisms for certain tropes - plot armour and teleporting will again feature in the discussion. Lots of great moments though and some stunning ones too.

Indeed. Been a while since I saw it but I'm excited to watch again. Especially in HD - it's an episode made for it.

There are plenty of things you could pick apart, but it's a fantasy show.

These are the kind of episodes we hoped for eventually in the early days of the show. Yes the pacing is much faster, but the payoff is far higher.

What an episode.

(Got a theory for this season: all the best episodes are the ones without Sam)

Didn't like it - just furthered problems with the season's approach to story telling.

Nonsense travel times and lack of belief in peril for main characters made it hard to be engaged.

I found the Ayra/Sansa for more interesting than 8 vs 100000000000 wrights with no threat/peril and limited casualities.

I'm not enjoying the Arya/Sansa storyline very much at all. I'm hoping it turns out one or both of them are playing Littlefinger because at the moment it just seems like they're both being stupid.

There was massive threat and peril you ninny. The travelling was ridiculous though. You're talking a 2000 mile round trip.

But the go to get out of jail card - the dragons was flipped wasn't it. No longer an overpowered one sided game changer..

The stark girls bit was amazing but there twists a coming there. I'm fairly certain how that's going to resolve next week.

The banter as they are En route was brilliant - particularly Tormund and the Hound. Hilarious.

The scene with Dany and Jon was very lovely. Pathos, genuine regard and warmth between them.
