As for the lack of deaths? Jesus I remember when we used to express outrage at characters being murdered. It's now become a disappointment when they don't? :slol:

We'll see if we're still disappointed at the end of 8. I think there will be deaths galore. Enough to satisfy everyone.

I wasn't disappointed as such, I was just hoping that GoT would bring back the shock deaths. Littlefinger dying was satisfying but wasn't really a shock.

I agree next season will satisfy the bloodlust, I think only Jon and Dany are guaranteed to be alive at the end.

Cersei presumably pulled her forces away off-screen ahead of the peace summit.

Wasn't Gilly reading one of the books Sam transcribed? So I always just assumed he had read them all and knew everything already.

He spent the whole time there complaining about having to transcribe useless texts.

My joint 2 fave scenes this ep: Jon and Daenerys behind the bike shed in the pit (it was cute) and the nut shots. (Finally something good came out of that horror for him.)

There wasn't a casterley rock siege. They left Casterley rock so that if there was a siege - it would be very difficult for the defenders. What it did was isolate the unsullied by pinning them down with a small portion of the Lannister force - whilst the main body of it took Highgarden. The Dragon roasting a large porton of the Lannister army and the fighting skills of the Dothraki put paid to any Lannister plans to lay siege to casterley rock. That allowed the Unsullied to trek across to KL. Probably accompanied by the Dothraki after their victory at The Bywater Rush.

Can I just say how satisfying it was to see Littlefinger get his comeuppance?

I loved that Arya didn't even hesitate. Just walk over, slash the throat and then look like nothing happened.

I thought that was fantastic!

Wondering though if Tyrion has betrayed them in some way to protect his family and unborn niece/nephew. We didn't get to see the rest of his conversation with Cersei, Cersei later says Jaime was always the stupid one for not realising her plan, and I thought Tyrion looked a bit shifty on the boat too.

And  at Daenerys when she finds out she's not the rightful heir after all - gonna lose a few titles! She should probably just go back to Meereen and rule there with Daario.

Great episode.

Cersei doing what Cersei does best and being a bitch. Littlefinger getting his just desserts. Jon and Dany getting jiggy. Ice dragon.
Loved it

I can't believe no-one thought that the dead dragon would get turned into a zombie dragon, especially someone like Tormund or Berric who've actually seen the dead come back to life and know the walkers have other zombie animals like horses and bears.

Great episode. Roll on season 8. Clegganebowl. :datass:

Did it look like like Tyrion was mad/sad at seems Jon Snow entering Dany bedroom?

Can't wait for Dany to learn she's not the true heir to Iron Throne and for both her and Jon to realise they had incest. :slol:

Probably didn't think NK would have have gigantic chains and can use it as a pulley system to bring a dragon up from an ice lake.

I don't actually think Dany will care too much about the incest considering for years she had been expecting to marry her brother. Might be a dealbreaker for Aegon.

The incest thing might bother Jon at first but I expect he'll get over it.

Dany is going to be far more pissed off that he's the rightful heir and it's not her. ;)

gooseberry fool just got real.

Shame they have to use Bran as Mr exposition now when it suits, like they just flat out said Jon is a targarean (spelling :dread:) rather than have him discover it at the same time as the viewer, which would have been better imo.

Didn't think they'd actually level the wall! Judging by how many of you knew what was coming, I'm so glad I'm not a spoiler split, sounds like it took a lot away from this.

All the CGI budget went towards the dragons.
