GAME Deluxe Edition.

It was rubbish but now it's incredible :datass: .

Don't be mad, Switch lovers, I like the console really.

Went into my local game and saw they had a King K Rool Amiibo behind the till, and I asked the guy for it.
I got my wallet out ready to buy it until he said the thing was £17.99, I ask him why it was that price he said due to it being a pre-order someone hasn't picked up yet.
I didn't bother getting it and walked out, £5 than Nintendo own website, jog on.

But think of all the money they've been missing out on 'cus someone didn't buy it after preordering. They've got to hike the price up by two pound every day it sits there instead of... I don't know... selling it like any other thing in the store.

Well the GAME at Merry Hill has plenty of pre-owned Wii and DS/WiiU and 3DS games. Pity that about half of them aren't even in a properly labeled box. Hand-written spines.

Knowing GAME, the pre-owned cans would be more expensive.

Are they going to start selling American sweets. They might be able to make some cash selling lucky charms and twinkies.

They already do in the Metro Centre Store, US imported pringles, M and Ms and more. Already one American Sweet Store around the corner and another sweet shop that also sells American stuff about 3 minutes walk away.

They have massively cut down on funkos and toys, still a big pc section and a huge gaming area which is normally empty.

Wish my image sig would work

There’s loads of those sweet shops in London selling American products and they’re always rammed...selling it back to American tourists for probably three times the price they could have bought it back in their own country. Bemuses me no end.

I've noticed this too, they started popping up everywhere a couple of years back and the prices are obscene!

I use to go into Cyber Candy to buy Jelly Beans but some people go proper mental for American Sweets. Especially Lucky Charms.

The Nintendo website adds £2.50 p&p unless you spend over £20. GAME website has it £14.99 delivered.

sometimes I wish I have the bottle to ask the poor bastards behind the counter on why preowned cost more than a brand new copy and slap them while shouting “SHAME ON YOU!”

I feel sorry for them, with me being at Grainger before they went tits up I know at lot of the decisions and directions arn't made by store staff or even store managers, always from the higher ups. It's a unwinnable situation for them.
