Hmmm, playing it in co-op could be the motivation I need to actually go through it again.

I should warn you though, I'm not very good either...

The ending to ME is awful. Don't bother.

No, the twist - if you can really call the face-punchingly obvious 'revelation' that - is awful. The final shot and the glorious, soaring music over the credits is rather lovely.

I was about to say that but I don't want to agree with you! Nah, I don't mind. w i n k. I find that music so ..euphoric and feel good. It's quite an amazing moment when the credits appear, even though the game doesn't really feel substantial enough to deserve it...it's all because of that music and logo appearing...the developers really got that right. And the bit before, the night time sniper roof top escape felt very last level-y.

I love that game, but I just want to play it rather than re-play it and get bogged down in perfection, which is what the time trials to do me. I want to do more chasing and being chased in the sequel. The concept artwork suggests a gang setup, and I want hidden packages and a city to explore rather than sprint through. The game was so meant to be more when you look at the concept artwork, they must have scaled it down to put those ideas into a sequel.

Some positivity yayyyy, and yet looking at the thread title i'm reminded i have to finish Gears of War yayyyy. At least it's linear enough so going back to it feels easy enough.

Im finding im buying more games before i even finish or even start some of the previous ones ive bought. I bought Peggle on XBLA , then wipeout HD (and fury), Naruto Broken Bond (360) and rented Silent Hill Homecoming. Thats just this week. Every week i buy more and more and i never get around to playing half way thru, yet alone finishing them.
