PostGames or Games Series' that you have practically forgotten and suddenly remember
by kerr9000 » Sun May 15, 2022 10:11 pm

I was just going through some games and a few roms as well and I realised that there are entire games even ones that are part of a series that I have just totally forgotten until having my memory refreshed.

One of my early Cube games was Bloody Roar, I had even played early ones on the PS1 but until I saw a Rom of it up somewhere for download that whole series had totally left my mind, probably because there hasn't been an entry for ages, has anyone else forgot and then suddenly remembered a game or a series.

Just looking through my Steam library and saw the Delta Force series. Absolutely loved the first two games back in the day but I'd completely forgotten about them. No idea now if they were actually any good or not.

I'd say the ridge racer series. I used to LOVE those games and they were my go to racing games for the first PlayStation. Forgot all about them until I got my ps put the other day and played ridge racer 4 and was loving it. The hi spec demo included really brought it home though, I just loved that game in the day and played it to death.

A 60FPS Stunt Race FX would be amazing tbh (it runs at like 15fps), some of the best game music ever also.

Legit loved Stunt Race FX.

The frame rate made it ridiculously hard to play on certain courses, but I loved it.

And yes, the music was great as well.

Surely there must be a patched version for emulation/FXpak that runs faster. Gonna go digging.

Delta Force 2 was the first proper online multiplayer game that I experienced. Massive (infinite?) maps with about 50 players was just amazing at the time, really blew my mind. They haven't aged well at all, but I remember both DF1 and DF2 very fondly

Street Racer - I loved it more than Mario Kart back in the day. I was young and foolish obviously.

2 random Xbox games I was thinking about that other day, one was a action game where you played a robot that could transform into a jet.

The other was a talked about halo beater where you played a 3 different characters and I think one was rhino man with a gun.

Viewtiful Jo - bloody marvelous little game that I only remembered when looking at marvel Vs Capcom characters.

Wish my image sig would work

I love Stunt race FX as well I have a UK and a USA cart of it , I just find the whole cars with eyes thing charming they have so much character. It's one of those games that's good but flawed so a sequel that worked on some of the flaws but kept the charm would be great.
