Games you own that you have then realized are worth more than you thought.

Anything to do with games at all.

I sold Pokemon Soul Silver and Pokemon Emerald early last year. I have a few things left over but most of it got sold around then. I don't regret it. It was collecting dust. The money was good and I can emulate those games if I ever want to play them.

its worth quite a lot now

Fantastic game it is as well

Woah, absolutely amazing get!

Yeah, mix of late release low print run + fan favourite developer + cult classic status, that one's proper pricey.

And yeah, superb superb game :) It has a steep learning curve but it's an incredibly sophisticated action game, especially for its time

I've got quite a few, including, Pokemon Fire Red - complete with wireless adaptor, Pinball of the Dead, Skies of Arcadia (GC), MGS: Twin Snakes, Zelda: Spirit Tracks (mint, collectors edition tin) and a sealed copy of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

How odd, no one else i know has had this issue. :|

Back to topic, i do have quite a few games which could fetch a hefty price, but i'm not an ebay seller and tbh, i'm not sure where i would be able to sell them without getting ripped off.

I have a mint condition boxed copy of Tooie, the only thing missing is the cellophane wrap.

Yeah, I'd noticed the other day that CEX had Killer7 (Gamecube) for £35. Not a fortune like, but I remember checking a while back and it was closer to £10.

I've been tempted to cash in on the Spirit Tracks tin, but the wee figures are cool. I've never actually played it either, it's just been sitting in my drawer gathering dust and value!

I wouldn't bother opening it if your game is sealed. Not worth it

I have a complete PAL Suikoden collection (including 2 Suikoden 4 with different age ratings) , plus a few Japanese versions, an American Suikoden 3 and a Suikoden 4 Prima Guide.

Tierkries is starting to creep up in value, considering it's on the DS

Stuff like Starfox Assault has steadily risen as well.

Haunting Ground
Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast)
Daytona USA (Dreamcast)
Silent Hill Collection
X-Men 2: Clone Wars (Dreamcast)

There's a lot more in my collection that are worth a lot more than I thought. I wish I had time to test, list and sell them all. Between them and some of my rarer consoles I have a nice little nest egg when I eventually get my act together.

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

Kriken wrote:Persona 3: FES worth £95 now. Sadly I've only got the disc now. Bought it a long time ago pre-owned for maybe £15 - can't quite remember. Probably would have parted with it as it's not a great version of the game as it runs slower than its NTSC counterpart and is PAL unoptimised in all the other ways too.

Oh that's interesting  I think I might have a boxed copy of that somewhere.

Every time I look, the value of many of my games seems to increase. Things like PAL versions of Saturn games Torico, Enemy Zero, Frankenstein and Deep Fear (and Panzer Dragoon Saga, obviously).

EDIT: And Burning Rangers and Discworld 2.

Oh man, yeah. I had wanted to get that - not because of value, but to try it - but I dallied around and missed it.

I bought it assuming it had local multiplayer, which it doesn't, so I've hardly played it :fp:

Unfortunately not. If only I'd known then!

I got myself a copy of Yokai Watch 3 because i loved the previous games, apparently it's worth quite a bit now. I think I only paid about £30 for it at the time. Last I checked on eBay, the cartridge alone is going for £195.

Seriously?

I have a copy of that.

I also have a number of other Gamecube rarities like Battalion Wars, Doshin The Giant, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Four Swords Adventures etc.

Is four swords adventures a rarity? never thought about it
